poke smot! said: Speaking in probabilities...
The probability of life outside our solar system is... high. It most likely would be completely foreign to us.
The probability of that life being intelligent is... extremely slim.
The probability of that life being like us, with DNA and even being able to communicate, is... Even less probable.
Unless thousands of years ago some society mastered technology beyond our imaginations, and as civilization was getting too shitty, said, screw you guys I'm getting out of here. Thus taking off to some habitable planet they discovered. And thousands of years later, returning to check up on the state of things.
Now why they would dissect cows and other animals, I don't know.
Oh, and I've been taken by them, they taught me a whole lot but I just don't remember what. In all seriousness, it would be cool to have them come and talk to me, I don't believe a loving God would have aliens do me any harm. However I probably would have a better chance of winning the lottery. Every day.
Then again, I wouldn't know the probability of that because I don't play the lottery.
My family hit the lottery! Probability is very slim, billion to one or even worse, I dont even know. Its very unlikely.
But i do believe their is life somewhere else (damn, the universe is INFINITE for christs sake!). Intelligent life, most likely. Like i said, the universe is infinite, anything could happen. Hell, maybe their are even places out their that defy physics and lifeforms exist that we couldnt even comprehend how. And if their was life, how did they discover earth, why would they come in such a cliche disc, and why would they all look how we think they would? Its stupid and very unbelievable. We have visited other planets (possibly?) and we didnt do any of that wierd ass shit that some people think up. I just believe that if aliens ever come here, they would probably not really interact with us, and they would probably be wearing some sort of suit, to prevent from dying. If they were that smart to get here, they would be that smart to wear a suit that prevents them from breating or whatever the hell they do.
I believe in some other life out their, but not rediculous claims such as aliens and UFOs.

Its not a case of 'why would they come here' or 'I don't think they would look like us'.
Its a case of why have pilots seen them and radar has re-affirmed there existance? Why have astronauts seen them? Some of whom are now avid believers in alien life. Why has does the history of government research they state "they are real and most likely extra-terrestrial in origin"?
Wether we like it or not, wether it fits into are rules or not - hundreds of witnesses, physical traces and detection have all been proved many times over. \/

why do we assume that pilots are of some higher authority than the rest of us? A pilot has the same chances of delusion or mental illness as anyone else... just because someone is a pilot does not insure that he is not also a hoaxter or a liar... the same goes for radar operators...

Do they have to be extra-terrestrial beings or aliens though? Cant it just be like the supernatural, like ghosts and spirits that dont contain a body? You know, like Casper?
