As an aside, I strongly believe in Peterson's guilt having seen two females in my life murdered by their lovers, and with the discovery of Laci's body near where Scott went fishing is proof.

That being said, I think the prosecution did a piss-poor job in presenting the evidence.

I haven't been following this case, but some of it does inevitably seep in due to the overwhelming media coverage. Were they ever able to determine the cause of Laci's death?

No, too long in the water.

All this mess, just so Peterson could get some fresh poon.

What I wouldn't give to have such a a lovely wife and the prospect of a family. He gets one of the greatest gifts possible and just tosses it away like so much trash. What a fucking idiot!

Did you change your prediction?

I could have sworn it was not-guilt or hung jury, but I could have been hallucinating.

Yeah, for real.

What a jackass..

I'm not saying I would every jump to such a conclusion based solely on appearance, but in every picture I've seen of him since the start of the trial he's had "guilty" written all over his face.

I now predict life-imprisonment rather than the death penalty for three reasons:

1. No prior history of crime or violence.

2. It is uncertain how Laci died.

3. As the jury was almost hung (unlike Swami), that means the jurors found the prosecution's case to not be a slam-dunk. Those doubts will present themselves more full in the penalty phase of the trial.

5. Ever since the OJ verdict, murder has been legal in California.

Yeah, I've been holding my tongue, but I think I have to comment now...

Does anyone else find it a little.. oh, I don't know.. peculiar.. that this unknown individual is receiving a guilty verdict based on circumstantial evidence and a lack of physical evidence, when just a few years prior Mr. Simpson was acquitted of very similar charges despite a whole bunch of forensic evidence?

Again, I'm not saying I don't think he's guilty.. I actually DO think he's guilty, but that's just my opinion. And opinions shouldn't convict.

I've said it before, and I'm gonna say it again and again: The system is FUCKED.

I can just picture you right now with an East Indian truban with a pice of paper being held up to your forehead.

Whahaha.. if only Swami had his own late night show. (I know I'd watch it just to see him verbally tear people to shreds in person.)

You are making no great predictions here  You have a 50/50 chance.

Same with your prediction of his sentence. He gets life or death.

Some powerful predictions there Swami

Why bother?

Call me crazy, but I speculate that any time Swami makes a "prediction" it's simply an act of mockery of people who seriously make predictions. ..Which, in turn, renders the above-stated facts to be the proverbial "icing on the cake."

*shrug*

That all depends how much in common online and offline Swami have.

Certainly.. but Swami himself has, in the past, stated that the personification he presents on this forum is not his true self.

Whether or not that was a semantic statement meant to imply that no one is truly representing themselves due to the limitations of the mediums we choose is up for opinionation and/or debate. (But not with me, because I just drop bombs like this then wander out of the thread again...)

Or some people just like to shoot their mouths off online.

Did you know Swami once graded a sentence of mine (I got a D+).

And ever since then his sentence structure has improved dramatically. I am proud of my "students".
