Do you fear God?

Many religious people insist that being Godfearing is a good thing, but many atheists feel squeamish about the what-if of there being a God too.

Where do you stand?

I fear the fragility of whatever the universe is.
Much like a machine with no maintenance access, just a small but persistent sense of concern/unease.

I don't believe in a god at this point.

As a young southern baptist growing up I feared the thought of worshiping 'god' forever when I die. The thought of forever at all was uneasy for me.
Now I feel just generally uneasy about the idea of non-existence, even if I would never know what it felt like.

Interesting. I see the fragility and dance of chaos is so beautiful. I appreciate it.

Who knows if there is a god? This is all for us to make up as we go anyway in my opinion and experience. We are our own God.

Forever terrifies me also. My remedy is be here now as much as we will.

It's all ones own perspective how we view all of this. So interesting for sure.

I'd say I could use a lot of work, I find myself in a panic about it all some days and indifferent other days.

I'm very happy with my here and now. Happiest I've been to date.
There comes fear from that, but I try to focus on the joy.

The old fearing God wording is odd, unless someone's a real asshole, appropriately fearing everything, their acts, which justifies the language.

Again characters could be seen like the qualities. The pure are friends and kin to God, the middling middling, the predators prey. The 'ego' inverts it, despising innocence.
