Bernie Sanders says, "Netanyahu committed a genocide".. What a goofy thing to say.

No, Netanyahu (Or "Bibi", as he is so affably called by Israelis) did not commit a genocide. The citizen-soldiers of Israel committed a genocide. Seeing Bernie try to whitewash the sins of the people of Israel is sickening.

It's the civilians that engage in ethnic cleansing in the West Bank, occasionally with the assistance of the military, and all cosigned by Netanyahu, sure...

Bernie really is no champion of left-wing ideals, if he can't get this one right, but I am grateful to him for bringing class-consciousness back into the American zeitgeist.

Regardless, you’re only upset because the left is largely dismissive of the idea that you and Sanders both hold: Netanyahu is solely responsible for the sins of Israel.

So what you're trying to say is that Bernie Sanders doesn't hate Jews enough?  It's not a genocide, btw.  You seem to not know the actual meaning of that word.

Half a million civilians were killed in the Allied bombing of Germany during World War 2.  Of course, this wasn't a 'genocide'.  A similar number of civilians were killed in the bombings of Japan, which included the use of two atom bombs.  Neither of these were 'genocides', because there was no real intent to destroy the German or Japanese people as a whole.


The Rwandan genocide, was an actual genocide.  The Holocaust was an actual genocide.  The Cambodian genocide under the Khmer Rouge, was an actual genocide...Israelis fighting a war against a Palestinian death cult called Hamas, which insidiously and strategically uses its civilian population as human shields in order to garner support and sympathy from the West (all while operating under an elaborate system of tunnels built with humanitarian foreign aid which was intended to build up their society) is not a genocide.


Hamas attacked Israel on October 7th with no actual strategy against military targets, wantonly and brutally massacred 1200 civilians (and would have kept going for as much killing and raping as possible if they weren't stopped by the IDF) and took over 250 hostages.  Then they went back to Gaza and hid in their tunnels with their headquarters located under hospitals, day care centers, mosques etc. and forced their civilian population to stay put, even as warnings were given to them by Israelis prior to strategic bombings designed to take out Hamas points of operation.
