A- How unsafe is this overall?

B- If it caused unequal sterilization, grain jars would contaminate when left alone, right? How quickly would that show up?

I only use 0,2% DME(dry malt extract) in my broth, both SSLC and LC, it's more homogeneous and even if you use a lot it won't soak the grains like regular LC, not that I would use a lot, but free pouring has a learning curve, at least for me

And if you want a clearer SSLC just swap the agar agar with gellan gum.

Mine sits out for months sometimes and never had a problem, I did however read that Beef had some orange caps and that they might not be leak-proof I use the original GL45 lids. Could always wrap the bottle neck too.

No injection ports, I open once to inoculate and then once to pour, I either used everything in one session or I throw out what's left. Done it both in a SAB and in front of the FFU.

Can't be sure how unsafe it is to use the presto, but I would replace it if you have the money.
