Like I said before, I'm not defending the current system, but like pre ww2, the tax rate on all citizens was 96%, but they baked in a bunch of loop holes to get the effective tax rate to under 20%. A system like that is the best. It seems corrupt, but it is designed to be like that. When I was a wildlands firefighter we literally had a training on what to do if we're hurt cause we didn't have healthcare. Pay 10$/month for 5 years, then call and get it forgiven.

bullshit.  the entire basis of campaigning as a politician is "elect me and we'll enact $legislation" 

the difference here is that trump is promising to cut checks from the US treasury based soley on whether his party wins.  beyond being blatantly illegal, it's not up to trump whether anyone gets a check for anything, as congress controls the nations purse strings, not the president/executive.

he's promised doge checks, tariff checks, etc etc.  just more lies for the rubes.  keeps you busy while he steals everything that isn't nailed down.

So the implication made when you say "if republicans win the midterms" or "if you vote for me to be governor" you will get direct direct payments isn't an implication of "if you vote for me I will pay you".
