I confess I feel like an idiot...

The night before last, I celebrated my birthday with my lady and two very close friends. We decided to take mushrooms for the occasion — it had been 6 years since I last took mushrooms... (no idea why)

It was one of the most beautiful reunions of my life. It had been so long since I'd felt so happy and so connected and embraced by other people. On top of that, it was the first experience for my friends — it was fucking unique.

And when dawn arrived — I breathed in the air, took in the colors, felt the stillness, and I cried. I cried for how stupid I'd been to have forgotten to appreciate such simple things.

I gave it a try when rec use became legal in my state. Fun little project, but with how cheap dispensaries are around me, it doesn't really make a huge amount of sense for me to bother.

I think most of the people I know get it elsewhere cause the weed taxes are so high here and the stuff from dispensaries is lower quality. I'm not actually sure since I don't smoke myself but it'd make for great gifts.

Yeah that'd fair. I just know the stuff I grew my first couple plants was... not great. And my local stop does 2-for-15 eighths a few times a month which is more than enough to satisfy my needs, and it is wildly better quality. 

But I'm not a heavy consumer, so your mileage may vary.
