I would like to do cactus again someday.

But I hardly even touch LSD anymore.  Between the length of the trip, the comedown, and the next day...

I'd prefer to eat some mushrooms, trip hard for a couple of hours, clean my house on the comedown, and then sleep like a baby.

Is the journey that rough at the end?

Molly and Shrooms my only psych experiences. I gave up Molly cause the next day just always sucked hard

LSD has substantially more interaction with dopamine receptors then mushrooms.

When I was younger, it was very exciting and I wished it would last forever. Now that I'm older, I often wish it would end sooner 🤷‍♀️

I would do LSA again though.  Especially if it was extracted so I didn't have to deal with the upset stomach.

Also, the last time I took full dose of LSD I took too much cleaning a vial.  So the 18 hour body load from that experience really turned me off to it.

Half a dose at the tail end of molly last year was alright though.

I took some dodgy bitter tab two different times and decided I'll never use a tab again. I wanted lsd and could never be sure that was what I was getting.

Mushrooms though. And by extension, weed. I would like to experience some lsd once in my life but I am more than content with mushrooms. They beckon and I follow.

Edit: Always been a Mike Judge fan but KOH series started to suck the moment the animation got better just like Simpsons. The newer Beavis and Butthead is still pretty good

Yeah. Not gonna lie. The lasting forever thing is kinda a turn off for me. Don’t know if it has a lot to do with how busy work/real life is, but I’ve become a fan of lemon tekking just to get to point A and B in a reasonable amount of time my hectic life will allow.

Maybe if one day the stars sun and moons align and I get a week off of work at the same time I’ll give it a go. Just gonna have to be one of those opportunities down the road

Lemon tek kills it for me. If I drink it I get a 4 hr mild trip compared to if I eat same amount. 18 hrs vs 4. My metabolism is stronger than anyone I've ever met so I'm sure that has something to do with it. + Instead of mild it is full trip to deepspace

I absolutely love LSD I could take a ton of it. 

I'm pretty much the opposite as you tree frog.

With mushrooms I've always had stomach problems and there can be that a sense of fear or impending doom that. Can  tend to come along with  really hard trips.

But I've never really experienced that with lsd. No matter how much I take. And I'm always able to function really well.

I could be on a couple hundred mics. Hanging out with family talking to my mom no problems at all.

I can do that on pretty much any type of psychedelic



But in general mushrooms has always been the one where I can get into a trip(4gs+ pe)  and then get the living shit scared out of me:rofl2:

I only really started growing mushrooms because I wasn't able to get LSD anymore and I didn't want to not be able to trip or  have to rely on others to get it.


If I had an endless supply of LSD I probably wouldn't even eat mushrooms anymore but I would grow them cuz it's fun....


I've never tried 2c-b.  but I used to be in love with 2c-i. And 2c-e.  Those are some of the strongest psychedelics I've ever taken. talking about seeing skyscrapers wiggle like Flags in the Wind.  Giant hotel resorts moving and breathing. Crazy to see such massive structures bend and move. 



@churp.  These things were  amazing. I popped it in my mouth sucked on it for about 10 minutes and then just kind of chewed it up and swallowed it.

Probably 30 minutes later my posters


on my wall started to look like holographic Reflections moving on top of water.


From that point on everything in my panoramic view was moving breathing melting.  Im all about oev.honestly its what makes a trip for me.  And these were top notch.

2 hours later peaking.  Lil sip of a nitrous tank.    TV show im watching turns into legit claymation. For bout a minute.  I think.

Bout 7 hours later started to come down. 

Visuals lasted for a good 10 hours.

It was all very smoothe. Slept like a baby after.

Same. Would absolutely love to try some gel tabs or anything the 2C family were it to come my way, but I'm 1+ degrees out from any kind of scene these days. 
 
MDMA was prolifically healing, particularly the first time, which I spent in a quiet living room talking cloth with trusted friends, rather than in a rave/festival setting, and would suuuuuuper recommend for PTSD etc. I had to stop because multiple SSRI/SNRI meds caused it to do nearly nothing, and pushing past the 500 range felt inconsiderably dangerous. Taking the full hourslong supplement regimen made the next day smooth sailing (literally, i went sailing the next day) Off those now and it's been many years, so maybe another would do me good, but it definitely felt a bit like "chasing the dragon" without the chase. Every subsequent roll of any size, festivals or at home, alone or with others, felt like a lovely but quiet homage to the tsunami of that first incredible episode. Was one of the "when you get the message, hang up the phone" type things. Always happy to chat about this, it rivals therapy in terms of healing power. Shrooms, by comparison, don't even make the scoreboard.

Just watched the hamilton ep where whatshisname raves about 2CD as as stim/cognitive enhancer. Juicy.

Part of me is glad I don't have a solid RC plug. Curiosity, cat, etc. Edit: that part of me can go fuck itself, the rest of me has its DMs open wider than the leg fins on the OG starbucks logo (IYKYK)

I am a huge fan of the 2C family. With the exception of 2C-C, which was rather boring. 2C-D is the most 'cactus-like' substance that I know of, 2C-B would be the archetypical partydrug (loads of stimulation, visual activity, great for dancing and at T+5 I can sleep). 2C-E was surprisingly powerful, but it fucks with my intestines a little.

MDMA isn't worth the hangover for me, even though I see the advantages too. Used it weekly for a couple of years. But I know what it's like to be depressed and the hangover feels just like that. The kind if childhood memory I'd rather not revisit.

Of the phenethylamines, cactus is the one that speaks to me the most. Alone in the forest. In bed with the wife. In front of the speakers at a festival. It's got all the entactogenic / empathogenic power of MDMA, the visual richness of the classic hallucinogens, lasts very long, is very stimulating and there's no dealer / shady RC website / impurities involved.

I was really disappointed with LSD when I tried it years ago, I got a few tabs from an unknown dealer but they must have been weaker than advertised or not LSD because I didn't test them :shrug:

It didn't feel like a trip, I just saw some minor visuals for a few hours and felt heavy for 10 hours after. Screw that, give me DMT instead.

See and as someone as someone who did mdma as much as churp it sounds like, if not more, I saw it had some psych benefits, but shrooms has WAY more of an advantage imho.

The next day from a good roll is just shitty. I’ve had clinical depression throughout my life for various events and if I rolled, it took my mind off it, I thought it processed it. But the hangover the next day killed any forward momentum I might have built up. The next day would become “just get through this” then I was waiting for the next hit. Never really got in front of shit.

Shrooms I’m up the next day crushing weight in the gym and not missing a beat. Plus the thought processes go for the next two weeks which is my usually routine. I talk about having a super active brain but with mdma looking back on it, it slowed my brain down but still distracting. Shrooms slows my brain down and I can walk through a thought process of what and why I’m feeling about something and tackle it.

Years ago a buddy with some biker connections offered me probably 200ml of a clear liquid that was supposed to be hallucinogenic. It wasn't acid, but they couldn't tell me what it was. They wanted me to try it. I wasn't willing to try something that I didn't know what it was, so I gave it back to buddy.

After learning about all the different drugs, I find myself really wishing I knew what it was.

Yeah I think a lot depends on a person's temperament. I'm pretty high strung when sober, if y'all haven't noticed from my posting style :lol:

I also tend to carry a lot of tension in my body, which is a lot more apparent when I take a dopamine agonist.

So am I a lunatic or do any of you embrace the bad trips when they come?

I just had a “bad trip” experience with someone and they seemed to come out on the other end…..better.

Had to explain to them that usually I like them cause it seems like they bring up some sort of issue I didn’t want to deal with but end up actually working through it.
