The white fuzz on the caps is the mushrooms reverting to mycelium because they aborted for some reason.  (Looks like pseudomonas) you can still rehydrate for a second flush, just dont leave it in standing water for more than 12 hours.

Id suggest making sure your dry effected fruits and maybe even making sure you make tea with em.

The key to canopies is clean spawn, good genetics, and good surface conditions.

I really need to stop getting on the org at work. I dont look at stuff closely and i get sloppy. Sorry

Can you tell me what specifically looks like pseudomonas, so I can identify it in the future?

I dried them, but I'm curious why you say "make sure you make tea with them" -- is there something bad about just eating them?

Pseudomonas is a bacteria that grows in the mushrooms themselves. Look for brown blotching on stems.

They can cause extra nausea or vomiting because youre ingesting bacteria the tea is just an extra layer of caution

So, after I rehydrated (punisher tek + a couple hours soak) a brownish crust showed up over most of the sub which I assume is some kind of mold. I decided to abort that particular experiment, on to the next round!

My sub was on the dry side(added too much verm, not enough water.) Should I just pick what’s there and dunk?

You could bottom water or pick and go for another flush

If the fruits stopped growing then pick em but they look fine and like they'd would keep growing to me

They stopped growing a couple days ago. I’ve been waiting for the veils to open at least, but it hasn’t happened.

Thanks. This is what they look like 12 hours later. Probably just going to pick them. My other tubs that are proper field capacity have normal looking fruits. I think this might be fighting bacteria too. They were all from the same LC tho.

I agree. I didn't want to provide any context here because I'm going to spawn this jar of Yeti and then most likely watch it get Trich during or right after the 1st flush. Im pretty confident it was you who replied to my question about Yeti, so this works out that you'd agree this spawn looks good. We shall see. 🤙

I dont remember anything bout yeti lol

That looks better than most of the spawn ive usednthe last 2. Years.
That being said, ive had jars look great, recover great from a shake, colonize beautifully only to burst into a cloud of green upon a second shake.

Spawn that baby after a little consolidation

Yeah man, I wouldn't expect you to remember specifically, and I'm not at all disputing that it could be a spawn issue - I'm js the spawn *looks* good and idk how to troubleshoot a problem I can't detect. I basically just wanted a handful of people to verify this spawn looks bougie so that when it shits the bed, I can ask wtf is going on while being able to stand firmly on "the spawn looked good."

Ive never really been a fan of g2g because to me it feels like the easiest innoculant to fuck up. Especially in a sab. That your case?
