I think this is a pheno from CocaineBuffet, so if he sees this might shed some light on origin. I got it from whatisanerd

And thanks for bisporus, I think they are moving along nicely.

Looks bacterial to me..Bacillus maybe? Never grew on wheat/popcorn so idk really. Looks off tho

I'm not a pan cultivator, but I'm not seeing lots of bacteria sign.

Just looks like it's struggling to colonize the popcorn to me. Small wet spot at the bottom too. Not familiar with bisporus tho and popcorn always looks weird to me kinda. I'll stop yapping

I really hope that is not the case, about the struggling look, I shook the jars 2 days ago, so they are recovering from that. And they are sweating a little, but no pooling liquid on the bottom just beads.

My first time with pans and first time using popcorn so not sure what to look for, thanks for the input, appreciate it.

That's reassuring, thanks. I'll try taking better/close up pictures.

Sounds good, thanks. I just rewatched six feet under for the fourth time, stellar series

Edit: I'm pretty sure the little blue dots seen in the popcorn jar is bruised myc, happened right after shake.

"six feet under" is the best thing that happened on TV
I revisit it a lot... I start missing the characters <3

Thanks for the updated pics. I'm always questioning popcorn spawn so I won't comment on it going forward.

I can't tell the difference between satire and reality anymore.  I want off of the "worse every time" timeline.

Not that I'm expecting anything from it, but trying an indoor tray of Ps cyans, colonizing compost/straw.  Spawned 3/23.
