There is a Belgian company producing zipper filter bags that folks I know have fruited from. Grain of salt as I don’t use bags so this information is second hand but last I heard no cutting or poking was required. Frankly they’ve grown cubes in regular bags sans cutting, things do not look so pretty though. I am unsure if these bags are available in the us however, but they do exist out there. I cannot be bothered currently to find the company name but they’re unique enough they shouldn’t be too hard to find with the proper key words. Long story short as far as I’m currently aware there are bags out there designed for this purpose in mind…

I cannot personally recommend this product nor company, however as stated I have friends who have used them with success.

I have an old raised garden 6'x12'x1' that has been shaded out by the neighbors trees. I think it would be a perfect outdoor patch location.
The question I have is... I'm in the Southeast and earthworms are dense here. There are other pests, but I see means of combating those.
Will the earthworms be a significant obstacle to outdoor patches? I haven't seen them mentioned much here, but I have seen them in contaminated blocks I've buried.

Hey guys i don't have a drill or correct drill bit anymore and id like to get into modded and unmodded monotubs here soon.

Are those buyable tubs from companies who shall not be named but I'm sure we all gets tons of adds for on social media really that bad that you should never buy one under any circumstances?

Like I said i don't have a power drill to mod a tub and it seems enticing to ask for one for xmas of the pre-mades and maybe just replace their filters with micropore tape or something if the filters are a joke.

Not sure whether this was a joke or not but I'm clicking the bait anyways: feel free to (let) spent more money on a tub then one needs to pay. If it makes you happy, we're happy.

For the price of a pre-made tub you can probably also ask for a drill. And probably also including such cheap hole drill sets. At least I know a store that will suit you both for under 47 euros.

One can also make holes with eh lots of stuff. Heated cans, (heated) knife, etc.

If asking for cult supplies... get that PC Booboo

A hot utensil makes for drill bit substitute.with less chance of cracking the plastic...

For shoe box or tad larger, yeah......
But I wouldn't  pull a full mono with shredded nar.

Define long term?
You can get quite a bit of longevity from a thicker poured plates, wrapped and stuck in cold storage.

I've revived oysters and some other cubes after a year or so in the fridge

Other methods I've seen around here in the past couple years are distilled H20 storage

Faht has a great way of drying colonized dried grain which works wonderfully

Curious. Do you think that is a substrate thing? Or do the earthworms just not seem to bother the WLs?

They suck ass, hard, and not in the cool way.

For half the price of one you could pick up a cheap drill at harbor freight or a similar discount tool store and make tubs all day.

Don't give your money to the scammers.
