And obviously it's not that simple or he would have been in jail decades ago. The amount of times democrats have swung and missed is starting to get embarrassing. The whole frenzy around trying to convict him and hold him accountable for anything possible is what's driving the far right's popular message that the state is just a tool being used against their messiah. Taking away that threat of prosecution, assassination, media bias, etc. would take all the steam out of his doomsday message. He would be back where he started, a failed businessman whining about the economy.

There's a lot of work that needs to continue being done in this country to hold the corrupt wealthy accountable. Take the struggle to prosecute Trump, and direct it toward changing the systems that allow many people just like him and worse than him to get away with crimes.
