Those people that get fired up already voted for trump last time and it was not enough.  Nothing would stop them from voting for trump now.  Trump gave no reason for anyone who voted against him to change.  Like one of the post just recently, look who biden or trump surround themselves with and with trump it is grifters and yes men.  Trump aggressively threw out bull shit and looked better doing it but it was still bull shit.  If you look closely at what was said, in the end, biden said america is great and trump said it was horrible.  One night did not change that and I have seen biden do better more then do worse in the big picture and even last night his positions were better then trumps.

Good man that does love america and bad man that wants to change american into russia.

Even you guys that are worried about biden are not stupid enough to vote for trump.

i'd like to see bidens failure to debate as an opportunity for him to bow out gracefully and figure out who the best replacement for him would be.

certainly not harris as no one likes her not even her own staffers.

this was produced almost a year ago. but its so true at this point.

and its not going to be better in 4 years.

i honestly think that bills response to the debates on friday will be the final blow for biden unless he is really hard headed. but we are at the point when dealing with old and wonderful people that you have to make some hard decisions, like is whitehouse home healthcare enough, or do we need to bring in the whitehouse hospice team, or is it time for a white house assisted living community.

ruth bader ginsberg waited too long and the result of that is a corrupt supreme court that is taking bribes with no recourse.

if we do that with congress and the presidency too, this nation may very well collapse in on itself.

I think biden will pull more votes then anyone they could come up with and give 7 weeks to pull it off.  I am not sure many people even know what the presidents job is really like or what really effects good or bad in it but suspect more do then don't and can see though what was really said on stage.

FDR's presidency is still ranked as one of the higher rated ones even today and biden is not president in a vacuum but makes decision with imput from a good amount of advisers and has been a life long public servant and did not start at the top and knows how things work.  FDR could not have stood and looked good for ninety minutes either.  The fluff on biden over this is more let down and fear from his supporters that he might not win due to optics more then they think trump would be better because of the optics.  The american people are smart enough to put things in perspective in my opinion.  They are not takeing positions to just get clicks for ratings.  Trump thinks america is stupid and he is smart.  In the big picture, biden is smart for america in the job he is in.

I will say this also.  The whole debate would have looked completely different Optically if cnn would have just showed the whole stage with the two moderators and candidates being in the frame at all times rather then switching to the moderators who should not have mattered and a split screen on the candidates.  The way they filmed this was like when biden gave the parachute guy the thumbs up and the internet trolls just showed biden but not the parachutist.  The very few times cnn showed everything it was a completely different look as you could see biden looking at the moderators rather then the split screen making him seem to look off into space.  It may or may not have been planned but was a set up and if you throw out most of the split screen stuff and see the few times where everything was shown, I believe you would see what I am saying is true and it is there to see for yourself.

Whitmer probably the best nationwide Dem with 1) an actual shot, and 2) enough political cache to get backing from the entire Dem coalition.

The way the entire media class just did an about face on Biden and started actually acknowledging his hollowness makes me think that Dem insiders want him to drop and he’s refusing, so they’re turning up the heat.

The media does this on every race I have ever seen.  They want the fight cause it makes them the important ones.  Nothing new, they are not loyal and have not been though out history.
Stage aside, bidens presidential performance has been good for america.

Her approvals are like 10 points higher than Biden at this point.

But yeah, he isn’t bowing out. Our society is run by octogenarians who haven’t moved past the politics of the 1970s. Death is the only thing that will deter them.

it seems like they are likely trying to get him to step down right now. the pressure will continue until august when they can nominate someone.
