Tomorrow will be the first debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. This is going to be the thread to discuss the inevitable fallout from this situation. The mics will be muted When it’s not that persons turn to talk. Which as we’ve seen does take away a lot of the steam from Donald Trump. But they’re both prepping right now.

RFK juniors campaign manager made some vague threat that he’s going to take part in the debate “one way or another “

Yeah, I doubt that.
Bur we’ll see what happens

clearly these are the two best men in the country and no one else could have possibly been put up for president of the most powerful country on the planet.

Proof of these claims?  Teleprompters definitely help them, but not needed and more fun if they don't work.  As for drugs, probably on statins, certainly Donald is, maybe some flowmax?? What else do you think they are on?

Will Jake Tapper refer to Donald as "Hitler", like he has in the past? 

Or will CNN put a corporate gag order on him and not allow it?

Hillary is now insisting that it is impossible to debate Trump.  It's weird.  Does Hillary think he is some type of invincible God?  If the person you debate is inaccurate, you simply refute their claim.  Hillary has also been talking (again) about how Trump is Hitler.  This continues to be a clown show.  I hope Jake Tapper & Dana Bash don't attack Trump like Chris Wallace did.  Everyone was so embarrassed for him.  Chris was unable to hide his seething anger and hatred.  His career is now in the shit hole.

thats what the claims out there are. i think they are both bafoons who are too old to run, but what i was saying is thats what im hearing on the various news stations.

i really dont think theres anyway this goes well for democracy...

trump seems out to dismantle democracy to his own benefit... while in his first term he just gamed the system this time it sounds more like playing for keeps. and his base seems ready for a king...

joe biden is a flub machine that really isnt what the country needs right now but is less likely to destroy the concept of what this country actually is.

neither of them floats my boat and i think the debate will be a shit show.

Trump does a lot of obscure pod casts and long interviews that never are seen by people who prefer microscopic sound bites.  Some of these interviews are 30-60 minutes. I notice how often he likes to talk about how wonderful this person is, or how great that person is.  He seems to enjoy promoting people he has a lot of respect for.

If there's any human on the planet who doesn't need a teleprompter, it's Trump.

trump sometimes cant remember the name of his own doctor.... or what city he is in...

maybe you drank the koolaid. idk. doesnt matter.

he caused the worst economical collapse in modern history by forcing low interest rates which transferred wealth to the rich faster than at any other time in history. decreasing home ownership... inflating rents. which caused prices to increase across the board.

all so he could do a little better at real estate.

he would be a horrible choice no matter if he does perfect in the debate or flops.

theres almost no chance he wouldnt revisit the slam the interest rates into the ground policies... and that wont end well.

he also seems like he wants to take more power than he is due even if he is elected... he is unwilling to accept election results because he cant imagine himself losing even tho he loses alot.

he is horrible at foreign policy and aligns himself with the bad guys more than the good. i wouldnt be shocked if he put putin in charge of the us military and made himself king... he is just that far out there it wouldnt be a shock.

what we need is some center of the road libertarians who believe everyone has the right to co-exist... to lock down some middle of the road financial policies and get the country back on the right path economically... and figure out how we are going to navigate the automation of je sobs in the future. instead of trying to shoehorn the country into some vision of what it was in the 1950s that wont fit with the systems in place in the 2020s.

neither candidate makes sense... even if you love trump to death.

All of these people calling him Hitler cause his popularity to rise.

At this point, it seems like many of his haters want him back in office.

the reason people compared him to hitler was because of statements he made refering to immigrants poisoning the blood of the nation, which was a statement hitler had previously made.

its a fair comparison when they have similar ideas

I'm 50/50 on if Trump even shows up to the debate.
I think it'll make him look horrible because he has been saying some awfully horrible things on the campaign trail in recent weeks.

Trump is a one trick pony.  All you got to do is look in his past to see what he is going to do.  He said almost the exact drug thing about hillery before debates, did a birther type move against haley, is already saying election fraud if he loses and  on and on.  His friend and foe can read him like a book.  He is probably the dumbest person in history to have accidently gotten elected to president.
