3 Good reasons not to re-elect Bush
    #2788255 -

In your own words, describe three good factual reasons not to re-elect president Bush because of what he's done (or hasn't done) over the course his presidential term. Please use verifiable data void of speculation. Sources would be very helpful, too. Thanks!

1. Failed to reduce spending.
2. Failed to reduce illegal immigration.
3. Failed to reduce social programs.

Executive Orders are unconstitutional, the Federal Reserve's continued existance in this country is cataclysmic, and John Ashcroft is not particularly good at being an Attorney General or a human being for that matter. I would love to discuss these further but I think the particular topics I listed, with the possible exception of the last, would be better off in a new thread. Feel free to start one up.

1. He makes heroin addicts seem like a thrifty spenders, and has turned a nicely made surplus into a huge deficit
2. His tax cuts are pieces of shit aimed at the rich
3. He uses war as his initial reaction rather than his last alternative
4. Patriot Act
5. John Ashcroft

I could name quite a few more, but I've already exceeded the limit

One of the first things he did when he got in office was to stop funding any organization that had anything to do with abortions. I believe this was foreign funding, not domestic.

1. He's a mass murderer.

Like Bill Hicks said that's kinda more important than whether or not he'll raise tax.

Sadly, this has either not been tested in court or was not found to be unconstitutional.

I agree that it is though.

The feds should not be in the business of paying for abortions anywhere.

That may be, but they were selectively paying people not to even talk about them.

Those who dole out the cash can do so. The real problem is that they dole it out in the first place.

I would switch those around......

1) Iraq occupation (A -because thousands of people have needlessly died B- because thousands have been hurt bady C - because it has hurt foreign relations)
2) John Ashcroft (because he is the source of the Patriot Act)
3) Patriot Act
