Are you using paint pens??

I’m sure it’s the drugs I’m on right now but the “rwxmm” looks trippy to me. Like it’s frosted on there like on a cake.

Lmao, it’s metallic silver permanent marker. Could only find it in the normal size tip not the ultra fine. I have an assortment just for plates

I updated the experiment thread with pictures from today, looks fairly evident that the plates with red #3 are stunted.

I'm going to pour some more agar tonight for additional comparisons.

I've been keeping a log of my first attempts messing around with agar. It's going okay so far! I mainly just feel inexperienced and unsure about everything, but the TEKs and experiment logs others have shared are helping a lot. Hoping my coordination and identification skills continue to improve with practice.

Some may say I'm posting too much to little avail but I say these clones of plate pins look NICE!
When plating the pin on the 3rd plate it brought like a 1 inch thread of myc with it that you can see if look closely.


Also RE: APE germination. Decided that the growth on my APE germ plate that I posted yesterday is definitely not cube myc. Doesn't look right at all and the fact that there's no other supposed "germination" is suspect. That shit mold...
Gonna try again tonight, plan is to cut off the end of the swab and mash it into the center of a plate and just leaving it there.

Are ya'll working with swabs or syringes?
