Worst case your defending someone who was involved in her sex trafficking . There’s no positive spin for this crazy horseshit .

For fuck sake, I'm not defending him. I'm saying that even Data from Star Trek would conclude there isn't enough evidence to assume anything about why Trump said what he did yet.

I think the obvious conclusion here is trump said some dumb shit and then the entire PR wing of the executive branch went into damage control mode, as they are want to do.

Why even argue this lol, don’t debase yourself just to own koods

This is why I had to change my signature.

Most people think it's wrong to call out make believe about Trump if I don't support him.

This is apparently the bar for plausible deniability amongst some of our more intelligent posters now.

Well sure Trump called the gay guy a faggot but that’s only one interpretation, Trump later said he was talking about a bundle of sticks. Can you explain why you think you have a better understanding of the use of that term than Trump himself?

Like Jesus Christ man

The difference is, in your last example probably 95% of posters would agree with you, but in the case above about wishing someone well, it's probably a lot closer to 50% because he DID have a reasonable explanation.  I know I've wished people well who left my company to work for a competitor, even though I wasn't happy for them.

You're acting like I'm defending Trump, I'm not.

I'm merely suggesting that in a court of law, your case of accusing Trump of being an accomplice or a supporter of Maxwell regarding anything she's done would be laughably thrown out if this is all the evidence you have.

I'm not HOPING Trump is or isn't an accomplice so there's no hoops to jump through. This is pure objective analysis. It's not good enough evidence for anything. He could be being pressured by powers we're unaware of to not say anything or to be careful what he says, he could be guilty himself, or he could have been caught off guard and didn't know what to say. Maybe some intel told him to hold off for a few days before saying ANYTHING about the case for certain reasons.

You're all jumping to conclusions.

It literally does not matter what Trump actually meant.

The point is he was close friends with the pedophile people and was stupid enough to wish the most senior surviving member of it “good luck.”

That’s it. But by all means please defend Trump and own the libs by crafting a rhetorical defense for him.

Here’s how it would go in a court of law.

attorney: “mr. trump, on July 21, 2020 did you say these words about Ms. Maxwell: “I wish her well, frankly.”

trump: “Yes... what I was...”

Attorney: “thank you. I’m done with this witness.”

Re: TRUMP 2020 [Re: koods]

Actually it would go like this:

Court: Mr Trump you’re ordered to testify

Trump: no

Court: well we’re gonna send you a letter saying you have to

Trump’s lawyers: no he doesn’t

And that’s the end of that. As someone who’s been edging for 3 years waiting to blast ropes at Trump getting caught up by the legal system I figured you’d have learned this lesson by now. Alas

Hypothetically, if Trump winds up assisting in the prosecution of Maxwell, now how do we interpret his words?

Really wanna hear this one.

I’d love for Trump to be upfront with everything he knows about Epstein and Maxwell but he won’t, that’s just a fantasy that exists inside your head.

We'll see, man. I'll have no issues if I wind up seeing Trump shy away from this harder, but I think your heads are all going to explode now if he goes ahead in assisting with further prosecution.

That's why I keep my mind open. I prefer my head intact.

Trump gave the prosecutor who let Epstein off with a slap on the wrist a job in his cabinet. Then he gave the attorney who negotiated that deal a job as his impeachment lawyer. After Epstein was arrested he said “he wasn’t a fan.” What kind of tepid language is that for a fucking child rapist? I’m gonna to look through his twitter and find all the things he says about people accused of crimes far less serious than raping kids.

As for assisting with the prosecution, someone needs to ask him why he fired the prosecutor who was on the verge of arresting Maxwell, and tried to replace him with someone who had no prosecution experience. If that had happened, who knows if Maxwell would have been arrested at all.

Someone needs to ask him how Jeffrey Epstein managed to kill himself in a jail run by Trump’s own justice department

trump has rewarded people who made the Epstein case go away. He ran the jail where Epstein literally went away for ever. He tried to shake up the prosecutor’s office that was investigating Maxwell and now he’s giving her his moral support. These are facts. Your hypotheticals are fantasy.

Seriously. Fal keeps saying "Trump's word beats your imagination as far as I'm concerned"

His press secs words aren't trumps words. Trumps words were what they were.
If he wanted to convey what he supposedly told his press sec, he should have just
said it in the interview and eliminate the middle man.

She said they were Trump's words.  Do you have proof she was lying?  Do you think Trump will call her a liar?

Yes they were.  I'm giving Trump the benefit of the doubt about what he meant just as I've given you the benefit of the doubt about what you meant when you said "Murder and homicide are the same thing".  I never said "too late, you said it, you have to own it".

Vahn explained this already.  He's not superman, and doesn't always come up with exactly the right thing to say.  Not that it would matter, he'll get criticized for pretty much anything he says.
