Yep if you like the kind of jammy-jazzy-going nuts style of music, check out the Phish album Junta or Story of the Ghost (two personal favorite studio albums of theirs)... or any live show with You Enjoy Myself.

But I never dug Phish as I dig the Dead :gd_icon:

you may want to check out some MoodyBlues. Anything from In Search Of The Lost Chord is nice to trip too. i'd lisen to OM for the sitar and drums.

also their album "Days of the Future Passed" is wonderful. Just stay away from their later stuff... I personally hate it.

Well it isn't hippy music and it isn't what you descibed you were looking for, but I say get yourself some classical. Classical music is truely amazing while you are tripping. It has also been proven to make you more intelligent just by listening to it. Give it a try and I can almost promise you won't be disappointed. Just my 2 cents.
