best tripping music? any ravi shankar raga...
silver apples is also doubleplusgood on shrooms... Check them out, it's an act from the 60s. The guy built his own synths... I highly recommend anybody into tripping buys "Silver Apples & Contact". but do yourself a favor and don't listen to it for the first time until you start to peak... TRUST ME

WEEN - try the "chocolate and chesse" album.
these guys are a trip. these guys were making me trip so hard that i had to tell my friend to shut it off the stereo cause i was going to throw up . good times.
alot of you les claypool fans should check out victor wooten. this guy blow les away anyday. BASS IN YOUR FACE SON!
every time i listen to claypool, i feel like im being cheated. i know he's a good bass player but at times he's a tease. its like "do you know how to play the bass or what?" now i know where the "primus sucks" expression came from.

Nice call on Ween, guys! A Tear for Eddie is the shit. Looking forward to tripping to The Pod for the first time soon.
I'd also suggest Book M by Secret Chiefs 3. Amazing album. Just the thought of it is enough to warp my mind.

I am listening to Ween and just went to their web-site to read that they are cancelling their tour dates because one of the members has hit rock-bottom or something. Just listening to the music tells you something about that crazy band. "Marble Tulip Juicy Tree" had me in stitches. Those guys have definitely lost all of their collective consciousness'

No one ever heard the Coil group from Neatherlands? They made bunch of music ON halucinogens! They have the trippest music ever made... But some tracks are really hard while tripping. Besides: the Beatles, the Doors, Hallucinogen, the Nature itself, T of N, and MANY tracks of various groups.

Live Grateful Dead-the band tripping, the audience tripping......there are some otherworldly moments caught on tape! Do you have any links to the Coil downloads?

WEEN is a juggernaut. The brothers will recover.

aphex twin is good. Richard D. James album, Selected Ambient Works II, and ...I Care Because You Do are probably the best ones. Nobekazu Takemura is also a trip to listen to...

The best thing to listen to is Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here. Turn off all lights and unplug everything, and light a couple of candles. It's by far the best thing ever. It will take you to another world, if the mushrooms already haven't.

keep it mellow, cant go wrong with pink floyd. light tool, apc, nin and stuff is good too. personally the music videos are much better while tripping. video is so much better for tripping. watch some ninja turtles or something.

well, i'm the exact opposite of ALL of you. when I trip.. well, first off, let me say i've never experienced a "bad trip." however, fear and anxiety, and that sense of not knowing what's next is what i really love about tripping. that usually involves a dark room and some death/black metal. word.
