What contam is it, if any?

I'm pretty sure this is contamination but just wanted to get a double check from you guys since this will be the first jar I toss if so (yay experience gained).

Third pic I think is the most damning. If it is contam, what kind of contam is it? I believe it happened because the lid's filter wasn't glued down all the way.

Yellow=bacteria. What kind? I don't know. Any bacteria=bad. Don't just open it and throw it away in your house. PC it to kill everything, then open and toss outside.

Unnecessary..Just empty it in the trash and wash with soapy water then re-use the jar..it just normal household\skin bacteria

That's what I ended up doing. Went into my bathroom, turned on the vent, sprayed the shit out of everything with Lysol before and after, emptied into a trash bag, filled the jars with soap and water then left them in a tub, came back later to spray with Lysol and 70% iso propyl alcohol, and finally tossed them in my dishwasher.

Really? Shouldn't you at least toss it outside the house? I know I read on some FAQ/tek that trich is really sticky, and it was recommended to PC a bad jar before opening it.

Yes the trash outside, not in your kitchen..You're going to PC the jar the next time you use it anyway, just give it a good rinse with soap and water
