It is possible to salvage jars 50% contamed by Green Mold

Alright this is how it went down. I Inoculated jars with malabar and they became heavily contaminated by Trich. Im not very scared of Trichoderma so i decided try something. I grabbed an unsterilized spoon and used it to physically scoop out as much of the trich as i could. So basically i was left with only a small portion of fully colonized substrate. I then place that substrate into a different jar and threw it back into the incubator. this is the first of four jars that i have. The other three are following closely behind. Any little spots of contamination left are quickly dealt with by the mycelium (or so it seems) and nothing is left but a big white ball of healthy looking culture. Tell me whats wrong with this? By the way, no real sterlisation techniques where used in the process of removing contams. It seems that by only saving those areas fully colonized, the myclium was able to fight off any contams i may have introduced.
Edit] I'm going to change the name of the contamination and say that the porblems i was having are much more identical to those of a Blue-Green Mold or the Penicillium spp.

No way EVen if the pregrowth is white. I can hold out a certain amount of time to see if spores are produced. If not then the only thing id have to deal with are the spores that are left from the original extraction that have yet to germinate which can be easily prevented by using H202 in either a Peroxidated substrate or as a pre-treatment.

Toss em. The mold will come back/and or the middle of the cake is rotten thru and thru.
Keeping around moldy cakes and spooning thru the mold is only doing one thing. Spreading spores around to infect more stuff. Dont even let contams sit around. As soon as you even see the trich pregrowth. PITCH it before it sporulates and infect more thing. Are lifes last a while you will have more time to do more jars.

Such a negative outlook! Would you be more satisfied if i cut one of these open and took some pictures? Im also beginning to see a TON! of aerial hyphae forming as well as Rhzizomorphic sectors that were not present before. So should i cut one open?
