Having admitted then, in fellowship, that none of us lives up to God's expectations, we learn that the actions of the wicked are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus (Rom 3:24) That belief alone, in Jesus, justifies the acts of the wicked.

Which just proves to me that the Bible is written by a bunch of self-serving interests for the most part, and that if good will come of it then the testimony will be proven to be lacking in both practicality and foresight.

Given that "Good" is a subjective judgment, we can judge the do'ers of good by their virtue. By their works we can judge them, which again brings us back to methods, if we choose to solve our problems with a gun then we can't really complain if we end up on the wrong end of the barrel.

Virtue then is the key, not belief in Jesus.

Allowing for different interests the positive people will be enjoying themselves in their own pastimes while we enjoy ours.

I'm a supportive element within the matrix wherein children play
And if I get what I give then I expect I will eventually learn to give what I want.

In asking for forgiveness I am aware of my transgressions and seek to overcome them in my behavior. Leaving my car unlocked is going to be a challenge.

I wonder if, in doing as we would be done by, we lock God out of our lives by locking out our brethren? Humility is indeed the difficult path.

This has actually made me breakdown and weep before, so true.
Living in the bible belt, it's very sad to see them cling to Jesus as they do without truly knowing--but using him to commit atrocities.

I couldn't find it either until I left the Xtian scriptures for many years and studied the Hindu and Buddhist scriptures. Came back to Xtian scriptures and still missed it--turns out after I studied Alchemy texts in conjunction with G.o.T., it all started to click.

It's really easy to get lost in the labyrinth, especially over something so simple.

And please, call me Phi.  Bayer is the evil side.
