the best thing Trump can do, in my estimation, is trump (oh yeah) the fiat currency, and go back to the gold standard...if at the very least, just to shut people up, when inevitably it leads to war with other nations, because, you know, they ain't American. just don't come here to Canada, we've got gold, but the UK will nuke you if you try and take any of it.

Yes, it is based on the nation holding the gold, but the production is key because there's no risk of the current gold being diluted with new supply.
