Pruit, how is he a good choice?  It's an environmental disaster right in line with all Trump's decisions.

It's like Trump took the worst for each job and put them there.

Pruit is in support of pollution.  That's not what the EPA is about.  It's about regulation so we can all live on this planet.

Hostileuniverse, how can you have someones who not only believes in science but builds his repuation off of that denial. An EPA pick who works with the coal industry to "disprove" climate change is not a good pick at all, it is the byproduct of another foolish move by the American people that pushes the ever growing corporatist agenda. What do you think about Jeff sessions? Surely you don't resonate with that choice?

Your premise is false, the idea that killing our coal industry will "save the planet" is nonsense, it's an insult to intelligent people

Why is it that liberals have to "get their way" all the fucking time?

You can blame China for cutting coal in the states not saving the planet.  But it does raise the ph of rain to cut coal.  This has an impact on our local health.  Right now there are too many issues under addressed by anyone.

This isn't a conservative vs liberal issue, this is a human issue. This is about the survival of our planet. How can you honestly prioritize the coal industry as more important than that? It doesn't even have to be the way you portray it, a massive loss of jobs and a hit to the economy. The key is to transfer the power to clean energy, not eradicate it. I myself find it frustrating that the argument against progress is always jobs. If we would transfer our political context to the past, people would be against evolved communication techniques as "it takes away the jobs of the post men". Not to mention that I even find it ironic, I believe its Trumps pick for labor that I'm talking about. You know, the wealthy businessman who spoke about how automated machinery are much better than human workers in an interview. Can you fill me in on how cutting carbon emissions to fight global warming is"an insult to intelligent people"? Just my two cents but I just get the vibe that you fall victim to cognitive dissonance and confirmation bias, it doesn't have to be that way.

China is risking war to reduce their reliance on coal.  Coal is choking them hardcore.
at least pollution control with coal is more regulated in the states.


There is a coal plant not far from me, in the next city.  There is more industry over there.
