Over the last few years, there's been a growing ideology of "fuck white people," perpetuated by BLM leaders and legitimized by guilty white people and major newspapers like the NY times.  The idea, for example, that black people can't be racist, and that all white people are racist (because racism = power+privilege).  It's a load of horseshit really - what about all of the poor white people who don't feel they have much privilege? We're just going to call them all racist because they're ancestors had slaves? Nevermind the fact that only 2% of white people actually owned slaves.  We (liberals) are going to call them racist while legitimizing much more blatant racism such as BLM leaders saying things like "the problem with america is it's whiteness."  Well guess what, you can't be that hypocritical without a backlash, and unfortunately that backlash came in the form of Donald Trump.  Anyway, it seems to me that if it weren't for this ideology on the left that white people are the source of all the world's problems, we wouldn't have a Trump presidency.  Is it just me, or does anyone else agree?

i don't really see anyone saying that "white people are the source of all the world's problems".  i see some people saying that neanderthalian white people are a source of some current racial problems and that a system which abused the civil rights of black people for way too long still lends some inherent bias to interactions involving people in positions of power and those on the lower rungs.

and to your point about the poor white people not feeling they have much privilege...they might not have much (relative) privilege compared to Conner Abercrombie who grew up in affluent Potomac, Maryland and got a handed down ferari for high school graduation, but have two 18 year olds from Hattiesburg, Mississippi named Johnny Smith and LaQuan Brown submit applications at the local QWIK-EE Mart and see who gets called back for an interview.

as is usual, there are degrees of this, that, and the other thing and rational people know that even though something is a lesser degree of privilege it doesn't imply a total lack of privilege.

having said all that, guilt ridden, generally uninformed SJW's are often insufferable.
