I never got the 'herb in brownies' thing. One does not add basil or oregano to baked desserts.

However, I used to make a mean herbal spaghetti for dinner parties. It was not overpowering, but made for long conversations at the dinner table.

If anything is frying you, its probably the false belief in chakras.

Sure, pot is useless and takes focus away from being aware of your surroundings and being happy with nothing.

Chakras, though, are also a distraction. You're looking inward rather than outward. If you want clarity, it's all around you, and nothing can help you observe it.

Well, I don't know. Maybe not.

I wrote a 222 page dissertation on chakras 30 years ago, and believe me, I've never come upon a rare condition of frying chakras with cannabis or anything else. :shrug:

In the first place, chakra phenomena is like a rainbow. A rainbow does not exist independently as a 'thing.' The subjective factor is integral to even perceiving a rainbow. Chakras may refer to centers of nerve ganglia on the physical plane, and to foci of specific motive forces of the psychic plane (my thesis), and to centers of experience on the subtle body or astral plane, or to aspects of transcendental identity on the causal plane - at least according to classic Yoga. That doesn't even include the rather different Tibetan Buddhist concept of chakras. Then there is the Sufi approach, the Hopi Indian approach, and others.

BUT, if you have become incapable of working, then your Muladhara chakra which symbolizes the motive for self-preservation, has been ill-effected. And in close physical and psychic proximity, if you have lost motivation for sex, the motive for preservation of the species has also been ill-effected. If you have no "social interest," which includes all manner of social identities, professional status, necessary competition in the service of sex and survival as well as position in your social group, then your Manipura chakra has been ill-effected. The higher centers cannot develop until there is a firm foundation of these lower centers of motivation. One cannot help others, for example, unless one can first help oneself. One's 'ego' has to be strong and resilient before one can transcend it, or view its 'dance' from the perspective of higher chakras.

So, unless you define what you are talking about, I'm gonna interpret a typical cascade effect which happens to chronic stoners who (1) can't get a job, and without cash-flow, (2) can't get laid, and further without these motives 'under one's belt' so-to-speak, one also (3) can't establish a social relationship with a significant other. There you are - dysfunction of the first three chakras. These motive-forces can be sublimated into more esoteric forms like Kundalini/Tummo/Chi arousal, but these are rare and unusual transmutations of internal energies that serve occult/tantric purposes. Further sublimations result in more spiritual, less psychic motives, like compassion, communication, insight, and wisdom. I recommend the book Handbook to Higher Consciousness by Ken Keyes if you want to read one clear and concise description of the motives and their corresponding organ systems of the chakras in a Hindu yogic idiom.

Maybe set up a digital voice recorder and then smoke a huge quantity by yourself and externalize all your thought processes aloud for a change, and then play it yourself while sober so you can pay more attention to it, then to a friend you trust or a psychologist or something (perhaps this might be mortifying, but it still might be worth it). Maybe that would give you some insight into what's going on.

Well, I don't know. Maybe not.

I didnt know what you meant by this at all when you posted. When I just recently smoked, I went into it thinking , im not going down, so I put intentional power and focus into the trip going up part and im not frying. Feels alot better. But losing connectivity I guess is what causes that energetic fluctuation. Also meditating every day is really awesome helps me keep the focus and empty mind.

I echo Markthegnostic wrt rainbows.

chakkras are not primary things

like rainbows they are an effect but of concentration sustained over concentration rather than light refracted through water droplets.
the perception of a rainbow is directional but it appears to be in space.

you can look into spelling and grammar to see other effects of marijuana or general laziness.
