Yeah, I suppose I would say I'm morally superior to someone like you. If I found a random cat on the street and decided to torture it to death, most people would find that repulsive. I guess you don't? The amount of pain we put our food through is completely unnecessary when one clean cut to the neck would do just fine. Go microwave a hamster if that's what it takes to get you off.

I'm not against all eating of meat, it's just that the way we produce it is completely fucked up. For example: chickens are crammed into tiny cages (crowded to the point where some of them grow up with broken legs), debeaked (without anesthetic) so they don't peck each other to death, and then killed by automated machines designed to slice their throats. Sometimes it only nicks them, so some of them get boiled alive when they get put into vats for de-feathering. Yes, these type of descriptions rely heavily on shock value for effectiveness, but that doesn't mean they're not true. If you're eating meat from one of these kinds of slaughterhouses, you're effectively in denial or you wouldn't be able to enjoy it. There really isn't any argument you can actually employ to rationalize it, which is probably why you went straight for name-calling. 

If you want meat, buy a free-range chicken that gets beheaded in about a second, and therefore dies with a minimum of pain. You can't see the difference? It's odd that there are these kind of replies on a website dedicated to the psychedelic experience, which tends to reinforce the idea that life deserves respect.

The fact of that matter is that almost every animal in the wild dies a horrible natural death, often times eaten alive.  The death provided by harvesting domestic animals is almost always better than that provided by nature so your entire screed is nonsense.
