Organic meats may come from animals who weren't fed hormones and what not, but they still suffer.

Vegetables are conscious as well...
Is harvesting considered slaughtering too?
I'm just fucking around up above there, I really don't give a shit. I limit my intake of red meat but eat a lot of chicken and turkey. If you don't want to eat meat, fucking great, don't, more for me, but DO NOT look at me in disgust if I salivate at the sight of a nice steak. I don't care how it got to my plate. If I was meant to know then I would.

I used to be a vegetarian, but I started to sort of reorganize my values, and quit.
the fact that humans may be "supposed" to eat meat doesnt justify the thousands of brutal deaths in giant slaughterhouses.
Many people would find it tough to eat meat after watching some of the footage from slaughterhouses, it really is disgusting.

I do agree with OMR that tofurkey and that whole idea of fake meat is kind of obsurd and definitely gross. If you're gonna be a vegetarian, learn to love vegetables
I've been a vegetarian for a few years now, ever since I saw this:

Ok, I'm no vegetarian, but I have to say that it's stupid to say that one diet or another is more "natural." Humans are omnivores, otherwise known as opportunistic eaters. This means we can subsist on many different types of foods.
I also have to say that although it's not enough to keep me from eating meat, the conditions on factory farms are atrocious, and I can understand someone being vegetarian just on those grounds.

There must be a more professional and humane way to slaughter our meat, like gas them, using a gas thats lethal but dissipates after a period of time. Cause that shit ain't right

If anything America is over consumed with nutrients, if we actually cut back on our nutrient intake, it would help energize and cleanse us

Contrary to popular opinion, death from chemical poisoning or overdose is almost never pleasant.

Tell that to the squirrels who jumped from a sixth story hole in a wall and broke their legs on the ground because I sprayed them with noxious chemicals.

we have bigger shit on our minds as a species such as the mass genocides of other HUMANS to go around fussing about animals and spending money to get organic food..
i think its messed up how animals are treated but i certainly think there are more relavent causes worth fighting for

but we are what we eat, if we treat animals so inhumanly, and we ingest this food pumped with hormones that comes from this horrid environment, maybe this is why we are so savage and we start wars,
its like with bud, you don't want some bulk grower dousing our shit with pesticides because its more profitable, and in turn we get some stress sack, which then reverts to cranky ass potheads, no you want to be ire

I've been to many slaughterhouses, as I went there to collect samples for microbiological study. I never once saw inhumane treatment of animals, nor did I see any suffering at the time of slaughter. And I went to a LOT of slaughterhouses. PETA finds these hole in the wall slaughterhouses and uses them for their political gain so they can buy their big mansions and what not.
