Built to Last

I just borrowed Grateful Dead's "Built to last" from my parents. Man, it sure does remind me of my childhood.

My parents are Dead heads and I can remember riding in the car with my mom in LA and we'd both be rockin out to this album. I'm must have been around 6 years old.

Whenever I listen to the Dead it makes me feel really comfortable, kind of like the fetal position or something. I have been listening to the dead since I've been conceived.

I've only been to one Grateful Dead show since I was always to young. I did go to the Futher festival a couple years ago in Live Oak and that was fun.

I'll be going to the Dead show in Tampa this summer with my parents and I cant wait.

My kids listened to the dead since they were in the womb but alas it didn't take.

It's like I have to like the Dead. It has always been there.

I would come home from school and walk in the house and the music would be blaring while my mom was cleaning or something. And we would have pool parties and the sound track was always the Grateful Dead.
I still come home from college and walk in the house when the music is playing and it's like "ahh, its good to be home."

The music is just programed into me.

Sounds a lot like my house but my kids walk around with headphones  :grin:
