The New Revolution

This concept has been around for a long time, sadly.

If you look at the Russian Revolution, The French Revolution(?) and the Chinese comunism thing with Mao.

It follows a pattern. Always you see poor social and/or economic conditions, the people uprise followed by a period of chaos; then a new force comes into power.

The question is... will this new force be evil.... again? We've had a shadow evil power recently, the Government/Private sector. They've been bitching the Americans for more than a hundred years.


I say we do the Revolution right this time. We have to make a way for the new force to not eventually turn evil.


Unity is key.


I know that revolution is in our blood people, you can feel it in the air. Lets do this...

I was just joking.

i think, if you want a revolution to work properly, you should put robots in charge afterwards. These robots should be programmed to treat everyone equally, and to never, EVER turn evil and enslave the human race.

oh, you're right it's not... it's the "let's start a revolution forum"

well, OTD is a revolution, go join in.

Basically, I think what you are calling for, this "revolution" isn't worth a damn that's all. I'm sure there are other people out there who are like "ROAR REVOLUTION CLASS WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!!" but basically there's no point.. there won't be a revolution unless it's riding on the back of a nuclear warhead. Phone back when you hook up a nuke. Until then... well, what's your whole idea anyway, your whole plan? Create a new constitution that protects you with things like the freedom to pursue happiness, whatever that means to the individual?

Remember, you need people to revolt

You can't have a revolution without a reason. The reason for us would be because there is an evil power trying to create a one world domination and suppression of awareness. The uneven distribution of wealth creates poor conditions for the middle class. Meanwhile the rich which constitute the minority have more than enough wealth to survive. This happened in the French Revolution. Well, we already have poor conditions, revolution follows. However, we do need unity. I say we create a NEW way. Not capitalism, communism, or in between. The charade that is capitalism can't chug along forever. I'm willing to bet we will see the crash. Evolution will catch up to us.

I wonder though, is it possible to unite though because of the sheer world population. That's my view, others are welcome.

i think a balance of capitalism and socialism is a perfect system. have limits on pollution and you are set to evolve!

That's the problem we've run into numerous times - it doesn't seem to matter how "good" the revolutionaries are; once they actualize real power, they become evil.

yeah, sorry, i prefer optimistic realism over optimistic idealism. People who talk shit about their ideals but dont have any actual plans to realisticly implement them are just as bad as the a-PATHETIC.
