And when you can't spell torture you can't accuse anyone of torture, now can you?

Ok, so you feel this guy is a hero because he disagrees with the war and won't fight.

Because he won't fight and is ready to take the shit for it.
Quote:
So by this logic, you feel that all the other people that are fighting in this war signed up to be in the armed forces with the intent of fighting in an unjustifiable war?

If not, they should refuse to go. Maybe they didn't have the 'intent' at the time, but they don't oppose it now, or else they shouldn't go. And most of them probably feel this war is extremely justified, or have been brainwashed into feeling this way.
Quote:
I know that some people signed up with intentions of defending America, what do you say to those people?

I would ask them who is currently under attack and has to be defended, the US or Iraq?
I would tell them to look more closely at the 'evidence' of Iraqi danger produced by their leaders.
I would tell them America has to be defended mostly against itself.
I would urge them to take a close look at the history of American foreign policy since WWII, so they can understand that what they mistake for attacks are in fact reactions. Of course, they should get their history from independent sources.

After Sept. 11 we were put into a state of War. Pres. Bush Stated for the whole world to hear "if you support Terrorism you are an enemy of the civilized World". He was not Bluffing! Saddam Hussein tried to assassinate Pres Bush Senior. He has shot at aircraft in the no fly zone for 12 years, He was directly linked to the first bombing of the World Trade Center (oh you forgot about that) He has gassed over a hundred thousand Kurds and there is Video evidence of that. He pays the Families of Suicide bombers. This is direct support of Terrorism. Terrorism is a cancer that eats away at society. It must be stopped. This is only the beginning of a long battle to world peace. No two Democracies have ever fought a war against each other. Dictators have and always will be the direct cause of War!!! I served 6 years and spent most of it in the Balkans and the Gulf. These are wonderful people under horrible conditions. The riches of their lands are squandered for the few at the top. The average person there welcomed us and hopes for change. All of my Iranian friends are for this war and hope it brings change to Iran also. Every article signed by Saddam and his Pals to end the Gulf War has been broken. You must stand by your words or you stand for nothing!!! Try to raise a child and warn him not to do something, but never back it up. Good Luck. Do you ever wonder why we have so many Iraqi immigrants in this country and around the world. Try to find a majority of them against this war you won't. War is not glorious, but freedom is not free.

The no-fly zones were unilaterally established by the Brits and Americans and were illegal in regard of international law. Shooting at their planes was just standard self-defence.

I didn't exactly forget, it's the first time I read something about that. One and a half year ago, they said the same about Bin Laden. But ah! I forget, those two are closely related. Credible evidence, anyone?

I agree about the evidence, but you don't need to inflate the numbers. 5.000 (actual figure) is more than enough to be considered a slaughterer.

True! All true, and I'm not being ironic here. But he only supports terrorism directly. You seem unaware of the fact that the CIA has organised, not just supported, terrorism, in Latin American countries and elsewhere, any time it fit US purposes and interests. The CIA teaches very efficient methods, ranging from bomb cars to death sqauds. Ever heard of the School of the Americas? Say no more.

can you say OCD?

and yes in fact, contray to your logic (or lack of), you can accuseing someone of soemthing without being able to spell propperly.

in fact m accusations mean little to the fact that the US has already admitted to TWO suspects dying from injuries sustained while being interrogated.

It's always better to make an intelligent point with the odd spelling mistake than to make a moronic point spelt well.

Radio, your intelligence is a much needed breath of fresh air to the board.
