i think mostly in words or para-words
next in images with attached kinesthetic sense
and seldom in static images or images with motion independent of kinesthetic sensation

it may be possible thinking without words but then, how do you call those things you're thinking to?

Is your question "what do you call those things you're thinking?"

Images, mental itches, visualization, intuition, etc.

I'd call them words, because even if not thinking at their grammar, you're still naming them in some kind of way in your mind. things exist because named, look at it in this fashion

Nah. You drive a car, not a word. You eat food, not a word. You visualize pictures, not words. You feel feelings, not words.

I would concede that "thinking" should be conserved more for word-orientated mental processes, in lieu of "cerebration" or "cognition", which usually include non-lingual mental processes.

I've been playing around with altering my belief system and I've noticed interesting shit especially regarding how I feel about and view things

Any examples?

Yeah heres two brilliant ones that work for me every time. 1.) Think that the world is like some kinda game where it throws obstacles at you to try and put you down while the reality of the matter is we're well beyond any of the petty obstacles it throws at us we just fall under the illusion that we're at the mercy of them because we cant consciously recall what we really are. Its pretty funny looking at things with that in mind and things I previously viewed as adverse become fun. Also if I throw in the idea that the harsh experiences are the most valuable things we can gain while we're here, because its only under these specific conditions being oblivious to what we really are would we be struggling with petty things. All that was way harder to explain than I anticipated. I'll try and do a better job of it when I have the time because if you're new to the act of intentionally switching belief systems I'd say you're in for a surprise. You gain a certain degree of invulnerability to many negative emotions and outlooks but the best part is you learn all sorts of stuff about the mind and what causes emotions by experimenting with this.

Haha, you make it sound as if there is a whole community devoted to this kind of thing. Do you know of anyone else who does this?

Thanks again:wink:

Are you a 'chaote'? That looks really interesting. I'm not sure what to make of the 'magic' part tho...
