All you really need is love. The rest is fluff and noise.
It's kind of hard to tell that if you look around in society.

I dunno. That's why I'm curious about killing people. I guess I'd find out if I went to Hell. If not, well, too bad for the silly humans. Let them have their, delusions. ...er, beliefs.

Do we not do the things we do, because the people before us did them? So as generations pass the followers are still following themselves. Only doing what the other is doing. Why did the people before us do these things? If you don't have a meaning to the things you do... why do you do these things? If you thought it doesn't really matter, couldnt you be doing something else? It doesn't matter, at all. We are products of what happened in the past. Wether or not you choose to stay in the past is your choice. Be the future.
If anything can happen.. would you be doing something of your own?
Peace,

If your going to imply that we should not do these things such as wear clothing or groom or do anything "pointless" well then, how will you stop. You will stop dressing grooming blinking moving... Tripee chick, What if in the "next dimention" we were not a race, but a single consciousness, all of us in one..... not mind........ not body... .hmm..... spirit (energy) A single consciousness in a neverending dream
but your still thinking, how do we stop that?
: ) now your dreaming....
And we all know, we cant stop dreaming............
Your absolutly right droz, we do them because we are just the images of the generation before us, we all followed in our parents footsteps and went through the trials that they did. And we also took on trends that the past generation and built on them, to form the next generation, and they will continue to evolve.

I wasn't implying anything. If you choose to say wearing clothing and keeping ones self clean, you are choosing this path to simply fit in. Or could you give me a better reason? Why do you do things like wear clothing and groom yourself? You can say from past generations, a mental learning pattern developed by watching your parents. Trying to keep your hair in style, is like trying to keep your image the same. For how long? Until someone else changes it. In american society there are as many ways to make money as there are jobs. Why spend the rest of your life working? Pointless. Why not live the way you want to live? We didn't decide to live this way, we were told how to. Your choice to follow. Why would you want to do the same things over and over and over again. Buying your happiness. Use imagination not just everything you've read out of books.
Why is knowledge power? Only because you choose to use it that way.
Try to understand one another.

What matters is that you have friends and family that love and care about you. You could be the richest best dressed person in the world, but if you have noone to share it with you have nothing. Unfortunately we live in a world of superficial people, so in a sense it does matter what you look like to them, but if you are happy with yourself, it shouldn't matter what you look like to yourself. I hate it when people judge me on my looks. Most people think that I am a stupid bimbo because I am blonde. The world would be a better place if people juded each other for what is on the inside and not the outside.

Incorrect. I do not believe in Hell (nor do I disbelieve). I merely raised the possibility of going to Hell. As a non-believer I am open minded to all possibilities.
Please stop prescribing my beliefs.

Of course in a sense nothing really "matters", but we trudge on doing the aforementioned things, because we want to be happy (or content at least), that is the basis of human existance it's the only reason we DO anything, to be happy.
Now people are taught from a young age what will (or should) make them happy, then they spend their lives chasing after what they've been told WILL make them happy, often finding that it doesn't!!!
Also what makes most humans happy is a feeling of being loved, WE NEED IT! what do we need to feel this way?
First to be accepted, by our fellow man... and to do this?
We need to fit in by doing what others are doing, "to be part of the herd"
So basically we want to be the same, and as for those damn whiny self-proclaimed "Goths" etc. who claim they want to be different, are doing just the opposite, by claimng what others already have.
So basically YES those seemingly material things DO matter, to most people, others realize that cars are not love, money is not the meaning of life etc. they are the unhappy ones, cuz afterall ignorance is bliss.

Action and behaviour regulations are liquid and change form, depending on the INTENTION. Once intention is changed, regulations are re-ordered,to become compatible with the new INTENTION.
thats where you.......***T A K E C O N T R O L***
A simple example of this liquid changing form is the way you look . In a mirror. When you are SAD. Ugly arent you? You are happy? ALL those spots go away!! Your face Morphing into other faces???? WE see what we want to see. And as long as INTENTIONS are randomly selected for us. Randomly we see.

Its all an elaborate form of primate hierarchy. The goal of a species is to thrive, flurish, and grow. Our basic instincts are based on two things for this to happen: surivival and sex. Subconciously our two main goals are to stay alive (eat, protect ourselves from danger, etc.) and to procreate. In Darwin's theory of survival of the fittest, the weak die and the stronger survive to procreate with those of the opposite sex which also are stong enough to survive, thus the strong genes will continue to be passed on while the weaker of the traits in a species will be weeded out. In our socioty, we are still driven by this, what makes a human "strong" (or desirable sexually) has changed. There is physical strength and in another way power. Power attracts female mates in the primate and pack animal kingdom and in ours. Power comes from many areas, power over people or power from money. Our whole system is based on money: the almighty dollar. Money is used to control. Money is used for everything, people judge you on the car you drive, the clothes you wear: It all generally reflects how much money you have. All this one upping eachother, sports, compitition, styles, brand labels, is all part of are goal to achieve sexual intercourse and procreate and pass on our genes. Our whole socioty is based on the purest primal instincts. But yet we are the only species that protects our weak, allows its poor genes to be passed on. I'll admit if we didn't protect our weak I wouldn't be here right now, I wouldn't have survived. I have asthma, with no medicine, I would be dead, but then eventually asthma would not be apart of the human race, the asthmatics would eventually die, without procreating through generations, and the human species would be stronger as a whole.
So you see we are just highly advanced simple lifeforms.

shroom-girlie, so this superficial world is a fact. Somatic-beauty does matter, mmm? - TV, MAG's, MOVIES smother us with stereotypes without our consent. Why not play along, hmm? You know your disguise inside and out, all the intricacies of it? A calculated choice of clothing can change everything in the way people view you. Gold? Black? Red? each makes it's own impact... in a superficial world...
If you're not afraid to ACT like a BLONDE, you just might have more fun, eh?;) And then LOVE the way people look at you.

Most people choose the path of least resistance, if you dress like other people, act like other people you wont have alot of friction from other people. This is a lesson we learn at a young age, hence its hard to change. and im happy with this, i would find it hard to do what i do if i had to deal with alot of shit in other areas of my life.
