The best feeling in the world can't be explained by words, for it is wordless. It's a dream. a dream so beautiful that it melts upon contact with reality. It can come at any time, or no time. The last time I dreamt it I was 12. I can't remember the dream, but I awoke to my alarm clock with tears in my eyes that I was losing it. it felt like heaven, pure heaven. All was balanced, everything was so peaceful... there was a pure sound, the music that comes from the peacefulness. and it was accompanied with a joy unlike any on earth. And then I lost it.

The instantaneous moment where you know exactly how another person feels despite the barriers of communicating between island universes.

The feeling I get when I walk outside for the first time on a bright sunny day to see a blue sky with white clouds blowing by. The same feeling on a dim day with clouds making shapes for my imagination.

The calm before a storm. I love standing in the middle of my yard, full of anticipation and waiting for the dam to burst. The winds finally gust, blowing the trees, and lighting brightenes the landscape.

Those are just some of what I think are the best feelings in the world.

Also: for some reason I LOVE going outside sometime in october. You know when it's cool enough outside that you have to wear a jacket again? The leaves are almost completely off the trees. The sky is cloudy and there is a cool but strong wind blowing. I love just laying down in piles of leaves during this time.

Oh yeah, and this. I've never really told anyone this, because it's my "happy place". I'm standing in an enormous field. Waist high light green grass sways gently as far as I can see. Off to the north are a range of high snow capped mountains. To the west is a great forest of dark green trees. A light wind is blowing accross my face and sturring the grass a little. The sky is clear and sunny except for a few whispy clouds that seem to stand still despite the breeze.

Whenever I'm down, I just imagine myself in that place and everything feels right again. It's the best feeling in the world.

the best feeling in the world.. the energy that you can feel in the back of your neck, and legs when you trip.. before you start seeing things.. about 30 mintues after ingestion.

Tripping with your best friends on a warm sunny day, realizing how lucky you are to have such great friends. How lucky and great it is that you all have each other.

The feeling that happens when you pull an all nighter, when suddenly the total ehaustion is lifted and you suddenly have a million times more energy then you did before.. like your auxilary battery was just flipped on.

Realizing how everything is.

Jumping in a cool swimming pool on a blazing humid hot day.

Having hot chcolate on a cold day, when you hands are frozen from your wet glvoes and your face is frost bitten.

Waking up a bit early on a saturday morning knowing that you can just lay there in your warm bed, enjoying it.

The feeling when you drive over a big bump in a road really fast and your stomach kind of jumps out of your body.. I love that feeling.

Centering, a sort of deep meditation where you balance your energies. (No, I'm not crazy) The feeling is like having warm poured all over your body and start flowing through your viens. Like when your legs have been in the same position forever and you have to stretch them or else theyll burst; but everywhere in your body at once and a million times as intense. When you finish you feel more complete and at one with the universe then any other time in your life. You feel as healthy as you'll ever feel.

couldn't say what the best would be...

a good one though: finding, thru serendipity, an area along a country road amidst farmland in the heartland of the U.S.A. where ditchweed (a unique, inconspicuous, thin weedy strain, thin small leaves and buds with a unique, SURPRISINGLY potent psychedelic high) springs up of it's own accord every year, making the drive out to the spot like it's a pilgrimage to holy land, finding a good female plant, clipping some stalks, driving home with a sweet peppery herb smell on the hands, curing the humble pickings quickly under a lamp, and an hour later getting stoned somewhere with mother nature, being thankful for the gift she has bestowed and the knowledge needed to find and accept the gift. direct from mother nature is kind of a spiritual thing.

the best feeling that can ever be had is the spiritual and emotional connection two people can acheive while being intimate durring an intense trip, when all walls are torn down and their is nothing more than pure animal instinct, wether it be with your wife, girlfriend, neighbor or the hot little raver twat you just met and cant remember the name of.
one of my VERRY rememberable experiences happened while on acid riding my bike through golden gate park.. As I came past the buffalo fields they all started to bolt along the fence which went right along the road I was on. I felt the earth shake under the noise and weight of the buffalo and once the leader caught up to me I swear he looked me in the eye as if saying "good job".
I then rode up a few hundred yards and just had to stop and reflect on what just happened.. After a few minutes I realized that I had been rolling on the ground laughing in the midst of alot of people when one of them came up to me, taped me and asked if I was OK. I guess he thought I was hurt or crying or something.. Maybe I was? I was really messed up that day :)

the feeling I got one time on E when I was staring at a bunch of trees covering up the moon at night. it was such a beautiful, peaceful picture that I started to cry

this happens occasionally when i'm sober, and E doesn't do that to me anymore so I learn to get it sober. I appreciate so much more in life thanks to tripping, and though I am sure I would have realized a lot of it without tripping, tripping enhanced the process and speed of acquiring these thoughts and feelings.

actually the best feeling I have is when my entire vision is of happy people/animals. though i don't often see happy people, when I do, it makes me so happy that i WANT to cry. our world has so much hate, it is unbearable
