DMT, could it open a portal to enter a robot?

If every aspect of your body was replicated into robot form, all the way down to the serotonin receptors and the Pineal gland, you would think that your soul would still be trapped within the organic Brain or be lost or sent to who knows where.

"DMT is released when born and during death, making it believed it is the Gateway for the entrance and exit of the soul"

What if the robot's brain was linked directly up to the nerve endings of the organic Brain, and then, while DMT is being released in both the robot and the human, all the electricity is channeled from the human brain through the nerve endings and into the wiring of the robot's brain. Then immediately after, the connection is cut, would the soul die with the organic brain, or seat its self into the artificial brain?

Don't think that I believe for sure that this would work, I was just putting that out there to give you guys something trippy to think about.

  If it did indeed not work, I believe it would prove the nonexistence of the spiritual "soul" and prove that the Brain its self is the soul. Or perhaps the robot would take on another soul that would have been given to a new born baby.

ive thought similar theories but more to find immortality for myself

but with very little known about the brain its hard to say what would happen. one way i thought of is adding electric brain sections to improve its functioning

BUT

the question is how much human genetic tissue must one have to be human or with a soul
future science will tell all

I think if everything about your body was replicated in robot form, including the brain itself, then all you would end up with is a robot that resembles you. Lets say one were to make it conscious. I think it would have a blank slate for a mind. Sure, maybe it's possible to program in memories once we understand the brain better, but even then I'm not sure I buy it. I really don't see how ones awareness could be transferred over into some other vessel.

Don't get me wrong, I think a lot of aspects of transhumanism are quite plausible. I think the way to go about it would be through introducing mechanical things into ones body (I think the idea is microscopic nanobots) which would act as super efficient indestrucible cells, fighting off disease etc. If we were able to do that, the technology, like all other technologies, would be able to be improved and perfected over time. I think the saying I've heard associated with this idea is "live long enough to live forever".

So essentially you arent talking about a robot but another biological organism.

Let's repeat the question:

If I cloned myself instantaneously, would my soul still be in my body?

Well yes of course. If you believe in a soul then creating another body would not affect your soul because if you believe in a soul then you probably believe that the soul is immaterial and thus not just a matter of serotonin receptors etc.

As for animating a man made electronic robot with a soul.. i dunno the idea is just totally wacky. You're wiring up a severed piece of the brain to a computer, and giving it drugs. I think you will have to reserve this hypothetical until we understand more about the mind, brain, and how we would simulate it in any reasonable fashion with our technology.

There is no such thing as artificial intelligence in any way that could be resembled to human thought. Imagine plugging some appliance into your pineal gland and then smoking a heap of DMT? Maybe your soul would reach out into the machine?? It is not a line of thought that I think will be very conclusive.
