Same experience, different interpretations.

Lucid dreaming is when you believe that your experiences is fabricated in your mind alone.  Astral projection is when you believe your subjective reality is just as real as ordinary reality.

This person seems to think not and lists some differences but who am i to say? I haven't done either.

Apparently you do not control what you see in astral projection.

While you have a plausible answer, I don't believe it's the definite answer. As i said, i don't have a clue.

I just find that in most of my lucid-dreaming experiences I'm too blown away by the simple experience of landing in another version of reality to bend it to my will.

The conclusion I'm forced to is that astral-projectors are lucid dreaming while ignoring the fact that they are in fact the ones creating and controlling the experience in the first place.
