What the fuck is S&P? There isn't a single forum on the list that fits that acronym. The closest one is Philosophy & Spirituality, which would be P&S.

notice how they make like 50 posts per day about nothing topics that they've already gone over 1000 times.
they just make shitty jokes and then arouse each other by pretending the jokes are witty and adding on to them.
for example a typical thread is -
first post: blah blah blah, some philosophical belief a retard would figure on his first 3 minutes on shrooms. this is usually 2-10 paragraphs long
second post: takes one word or phrase from the from the OP and makes a one sentence unfunny joke, usually just a pun.
third through 20th post: responding to the pun with their own shitty puns, with one person seriously responding with the exact same thing they've been saying for 5 years.

Sample Post:
I saw an aura
Ok this is one of the coolest things that has happened to me for a while. It started with me diligently reading a book on aura reading, what I had read was an introduction to a world where one is aware of life energy, I hadnt read a detailed guide on how to actually read the aura of anything - but was thinking constantly in terms of auric fields and that everything that happens to us is recorded in our aura ...
It started a couple of inches from his physical body and was maybe three inches thick, the inner edge was rather straight and well defined - the outer edge was like the mix of many different waves, similar to choppy seawater, and also shimmering. Colour wise it was almost impossible to define - like it was a colour I had never seen before, although the closest thing I can think of to describe it is electrical blue with silver- it seemed to have a rather alien time dimension to it - what I mean is it moved both very fast and strangely slowly (one must remember here that it was multi faceted )the slow element of its changing was very elegant and smooth and affected relatively large areas in a wave like fashion, whereas the faster parts were only as big maybe as a millimeter and were almost buzzing - it was very concretely real and very detailed - If someone wants I'll post a drawing of what I saw ."
btw.. that whole thing was like 5 pages and had about two sentences.
wtf?

It's as excessive as those people that physically exercise all the time. Thinking that much without achieving anything really productive comes at a detriment to other, more worthy persuits.
I can't say it's for entertainment either, because if I, or anyone there did it for fun, longwinded essays on the discourse of nothing (or Belgian dinner talk) wouldn't take place.

More worthy pursuits? Like what? Posting about House in the pub? Posting what you had for lunch in OTD? Berating some noob for asking about strains in Mush Cult? Sniping at people in the anonymous forum?
People come here to entertain themselves; different strokes for different folks for christs sake

As a frequent poster in P&S all I have to say is Some of this stuff is spot on. The puns especially. Oh man, I am guilty of some really un-funny puns. That doesn't mean P&S isn't worthwhile though. Magic stuff happens there. Some of the people in P&S are great teachers.
