Shrooms have a grand spirit. They surely are 'in touch' with g*d.
Once trippin' I 'saw' all the little shroom-substance-entities were set free in my mind, going 'Yepee, we're free ! That's how we're intent to beee !', like Mario, showing me their magic

i think the goddess Persephone or her mother, Demeter have something to do with psilocybin. any earth earth god/goddess would be suitable though. try Gaia or Pan. or Dionysus whom is the god of intoxication.

No, there is no mushroom god. In fact, there is only one God - the state of normal awareness also known as ignorance (what makes a typical person a chipmunk). Mush, on the other hand, shifts your perception away from what is known as God, hence the idea of the sin. And the further you move away, the more serious the sin is.
At some point you either fall under the pressure of these sins back to God (becoming a zombie Christian devoted to normal state of awareness (God)) or commit an unforgivable sin - perception shifts far away from normal state of awareness and becomes above God. And then God becomes a spec of dust in the desert of Reality.

^^^ Yeah, in YOUR opinion...

There are many personal "gods" and one impersonal and non-judgmental SOURCE, imo.

Although inventing your own gods can be useful, it's best to learn how to invoke pre-existing ones first.

Xochipilli is definitely a Mushroom God if there ever was one...

"Xochi" means Flower and "Pilli" means Child or Prince. :flowerchild:

Xochipilli - The "Prince of Flowers" of the Mexica or Aztecs of Mesoamerica.  This statue of Xochipilli was unearthed at Tlalmanalco on Mt. Popocatépetl and is dated approximately 1450 A.D. The god's body is adorned with carved flowers including coaxihuitl or the morning glory Turbina Corymbosa (L.) Raf., source of ololiuhqui seeds, quauhyetl or the tobacco Nicotiana tabacum L., and other visonary plants, including rosettes of the sectioned caps of the mushrooms called xochinanácatl or "flower mushrooms" in Náhuatl, probably Psilocybe aztecorum. For the Aztecs "flowers" were a metaphor for the entheogens as evidenced by the repeated reference to "flowers that inebriate" in their poetry. The face of Xochipilli is contorted as if seeing visions in ecstasy, and the head is tilted as if hearing voices. temicxoch...

As R.G. Wasson says in the The Wonderous Mushroom of the statue of Xochipilli:

"He is absorbed in temicxoch, 'the flowery dream'*, as the Nahua say in describing the awesome experience that follows the ingestion of an entheogen. I can think of nothing like it in the long and rich history of European art: Xochipilli absorbed in temicxoch."
