Some very inteseresting points linking many religions to the zodiac, Imho this blows Christianity and most other religions completely out of the water but I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I did a search before I posted this and someone said:

"I found pretty much every single one of the claims in the first for of the documentary to be nonsense (eg. Isis was not a virgin, Jesus' birthday was not Dec 25th [Christmas was created 800 years after his time], there were never 3 [wise men except in pop culture]). The rest of the documentary is interesting, but the first part's complete bogusness makes me skeptical of it as a whole. "

There was no reply to this responce and I'm incapable of giving an accurate one myself so anyone more qualified please tell us what you think.

They may have gotten some things wrong, but I believe the basic gist is correct. There is even evidence that suggests that the Buddha wasn't a real person.

If this stuff could be definitively proven, it would be. Being a "true believer" requires faith on many levels. I'm open minded, but will not accept something as fact without actual proof. I'm spiritual, but that's not a replacement for using the brain.

It's more about getting the lessons. If someone asks me to believe in the historical accuracy of such documents, my trust for them plummets quickly.

They got absolutely everything wrong... deliberately, I'm sure. Can't see the gist of it holding any truth if the info used to arrive at the gist is all false.

there was a real good movie about astronomy and Christianity but i don't recall what it was called.....

this isn't helpful maybe someone knows what I mean, it was watched by me on 6-6-6 actually i think....... and probably posted sometime around then.

the man rallied off literally hundreds of people that were crucified and said to come back to life, or something of the sort, and did all sorts of interesting things with the Bible

and he kept saying "astrology, 'evil' astrology as thought by Christians is not so, the Bible is simply astrology"
