Posting a huge amount of <a href links?

I have a large amount of (relevant) links I want to post. The big file is only a list of links, but they are in plain HTML format, as opposed to UBBCode. Is it possible for me to submit these here without manually changing each one to UBBCode?

Does anyone know of a HTML -> UBBCode converter for Linux that will do this? I suppose I can dust off the coding skills and come up with something, but I'm a bit busy at the moment.

A search and replace utility (for instance notepad) does wonders.

You can open the html file in a text file editor that can "replace all".

First replace all <a href=" with [url=
Then replace all </a> with [/url]
Then replace all "> with ]

Haha.. thanks. I guess I was thinking too hard.

I did it using a regex expression (vim syntax):
