Something awry in the OTD

Today while hanging in the good ol' OTD I noticed I was getting weird pop-ups for some windows warning crap. Something trying to scan and install junk on my computer from www.winfixer.com. Never pop ups on any other site, just on the Shroomery. Right now I just got this:



Somethings fishy... Hacker maybe?

(PS, I know about firefox, I prefer IE)

Unless you can point me to a URL on this site where this always occurs, I'm going to say you probably have some adware. Try this.

I use AVG and AdAware. Like I said, it only affects me on this site. This just started today. I'll try the link you gave me.

If you already use Adaware you probably don't need Windows Antispyware... still, I'm totally stumped as to how someone could include java or javascript in a post. If it happens again please note the URL, and I'll try and think about possible exploits.

It happens at different times.  More often when I use the spell check.  I used AVG and AdAware and neither one of them gets rid of it.
