So I guess I can sort of say I've been around for a bit.  I've been with OTD and it's been my home for quite some time.  I've had alot of interactions, good and bad, which I cherish from that place.

And yes, it's been around for a while.  But like with anything, change may be necessary.  Being a whore, I'll be the first to admit that yes, OTD is complete garbage.

People post about the stupidest crap ever.  It's literally a chat room littered with childish insults, porno, bukakku, goatse, human mutilation, and the ever so lovely porno grandma. 

But once again, pigs need their mud.  Crackheads need their crack.  I need my armpit soap. 

I think it's important I voice myself in this manner because most people bitching about OTD are people who rarely even COME BY otd, on and off, a thread or two, whatever.


I'm just going to leave it at this.  I know geokills in person.  He's perhaps one of the most reasonable, logical, and wisest people I know.  From the bottom of my academic ego, i KNOW he could rape my ass in ANY pre-med class I've taken if he so chose to sway his effort in that direction. 

It seems like many people just have a fucking problem with authority.  BUT YOU NEED TO REALIZE AND ACKNOWLEDGE THE MOTIVES BEHIND THE ACTIONS.

He's TRYING to make this place better.  Look at these other threads.  Look how much he's spilling his guts over THIS FUCKING WEBSITE.  HE DOESNT EVEN GET PAID FOR THIS. 

This is why I chose to stay neutral on this issue.  Yes, I miss otd and it's always been a great place for me, but when people of equal valid intention come in with new ideas, it isn't in my best interest to oppose them and automatically assume what they're doing to be wrong.

Ever thought about positive feedback?  Ever considered examining what he's trying to do?  Ever given any suggestions aside from stringent verbal opposition?


As one of the more vocal members of OTD, I stress everyone to keep an open mind.    Chill the fuck out.  Go smoke some herb. 

We'll get through this.  We'll ALL learn from this.  Pessimism isn't good for the heart, trust me, I'm a surgeon. :smirk:

If you chose to live life without challenge, then life itself ceases to be interesting.

Once again, thank you for the words of support and encouragement. 
Change is inevitable, and I hope everyone can see that we are not
trying to be selfish or snobbish in our motives - we are only striving to
be as fair as possible to all parties involved.

Edit: *and by all parties, I mean everyone who is a part of
this community, cultivator, shootin' da shitter, or otherwise :heart:

Nice to see some support.


To all the haters out there: Chill. There is already something in the works. It shouldn't be much longer. Just check out some of the other forums or venture out into the real world and find something to do while you're waiting on a resolution on this OTD stuff. No reason to go apeshit, I have a feeling you guys will really like the resolution. :smile:
