Pictures of Casings ready to Fruit
    #4772845 -

Hallo everyone,
I was wondering if everyone might be kind enough to post pictures of their casings before you moved them to fruiting as to provide a nice view point of how long t owait, and for what my casing to look like.
Thank you very much.
With love and lucidity,

NEED HELP!" etc. man if u just fuckin browse through the last couple days of posts, ud have all your questions answered. quit being lazy, and use the shroomery properly!

I already used the search, and typed in "Is this ready to fruit?" It didn't exactly bring up the compelation of pictures I was looking for. So I thought perhaps I should make a thread where several of the pictures are in the same thread for comparison. I didn't ask for a dick head response. So if you're going to be a jerk, then just keep it out of this thread. I personally do not want to hear it.
Let's all just smoke a bowl and get along.

anyways ill answer this . after you mix your spawn and substrate (i.e. crumbled jars and poo/verm), then u place that mixture back into the incubator where your jars were, so that the mixture of spawn / substrate can colonize all into one big spawn. in a sense, since you are a nub, i will tell you that your basically turning a jar, into a giant jar/tray of one big colonized mass of mycelium. so once your tray is FULLY (100%) colonized, meaning the top layer of your spawn/substrate mixture becomes completely white with mycelium (like your jar did when it was 100%), then you case, meaning you apply a layer of a casing mixture, usually 50/50 vermiculate/coco coir, which is simply used to retain moisture and prevent contams from hurtin the mycelium. after that, you put it BACK into the incubator (although this is an optional step, but it gives you way better results im told), so that the new layer of casing mixture can start to colonize. AS SOON as you see the least bit of mycelium poking through the casing layer (dont wait for the casing layer to 100% colonize, that is called massive overlay lol), then lightly sprinkle some casing mixture over that mycelium (called patching) so that the casing layer looks, once again, like it has no colonization. this will give the otehr areas of the casing a chance to catch up, giving you more even, and better pinsets / flushes. Patching is the absolute last step before you go to the FC. after you see a tiny bit of myc poking through the casing layer, PATCH that myc, and move from the incubator to the FC. your good to go. i even included some links to posts where you can see pictures of spawn/substrate mixtures that are 100% colonized, ready to be cased, and almost ready for the FC.

This is Roadkills poo tek pictorial, from the beginning, in which he pasturizes dried poo. it will answer all your questions, and he even tells you that u have the option of simply placing in the FC after 100% colonization of spawn/substrate mix, or if u want to add a top casing layer, he says to put back in incubator. just read the ENTIRE first post of this tek man. it will teach you MUCHO.

and here are some pics from Bamaman's excellent grow log, showing his 100% colonized substrate / poo mixture, now ready to have the casing layer added, be placed back in the incubator for just a few days, then patch, and transfer into the fruiting chamber.

credits go to bamaman for excellent updates and great pics of his step by step process. if u want a good grow log to follow, check this out, this is a link to his grow log where i got those pics from, he even did a few jars separately, and got excellent results. just read up and learn my friend, ull have less questions if u just read because ull learn shit u didnt know about, rather than waiting to have a problem / question and need it answered. better to be PREPARED than INQUISITIVE.

and dude, when you search for stuff, dont type exact phrases. if uve ever used a search engine (i.e. google, yahoo, whatever), then you know that searching with keywords is what works best. next time try Casing Fruiting Chamber? Ready FC? i guess this topic was one that is hard to search for specifically, but the first step is to simply browse the cultivation board, if u just check page 1, and 2,... until like 5, which takes no more than 10 minutes of your time, such a common topic is sure to pop up for ya

Alright, obviously you didn't understand me questyion. I was looking for pictures of the colonized casing layer. Obviously if I'm up to this point right now, I obviously have done the latter. By the way, a lot of people are viual learners. I don't know if you're aware of this. Particularly artistic people are visual learners. There's also vertbal, kinesthetic, musical, and hands-on learners.

argh, its not that hard man, AS SOON AS YOU SEE ANY BIT OF WHITE IN YOUR CASING LAYER! idealy, u dont want to have ANY mic on TOP of your casing layer, because if you can see myc developing just under, or THROUGH the casing layer, your ready to place in FC. its as simple as IF YOU SEE ANY BIT OF WHITE, THROW IN IN FC. no picture necessary, which is EXACTLY why u wont find many, if ANY, on here. its an optional step, and a very minor step at that. if u see white, patch, and place in fc. end of story. have confidence in yourself my god

Why so much hostility?

I'm a visual learner, myself. That's why I always research the pics too.
