Not new to growing, casing not fruiting
    #512060 - 01/06/02 11:56 AM (23 years, 2 months ago)

Its been a while since i last cased BRF cakes, i've been using rye lately. Anyway, my BRF cakes are cased in straight verm and have become inactive before producing any flushes...I had 2 pins on one side that abhorted. It is a rather large casing and I do believe the reason it did not fruit was because of innadiquate (dood its early in the morning dont ask me how to spell that word) humidification. I have since fixed this problem but the casing has not responded...what should i do? ive never 'deep scratched" anything before...but since this is just straight verm shoudl i just recase? as always feedback is greatly appreciated

First of all, don't lie and say your a non-novice grower thinking you'll get more replies cause you won't. Once you've cased (which you said you have done) and read these boards a few times its pretty simple to problem solve ya own grows. But anyhows....

As for ya questions.... What strain? Temps in ya terrarium? Casings generally don't need humidity as it is all supplied in the casing itself. Is it overlayed? If so you may want to consider deep scratching.

Post some more info and I will help you out.

Peace
