Hi again!
Could Ryche Hawk or someone give me an opinion on this:
In regard to the cased containers, is putting the container into a container with perlite going to cause the cased container to get saturated? What if the cased container was placed into a container without the perlite?
Would the spraying of the cased layer together with being inside a closed container be sufficient?
I thought I'd check, as I read some post that said their cased tray was "water logged".
Thanks a lot!

hiya psth. ive done 1 crop and used ryche's casing method put a couple thin plastic flat flower trays with no holes in bottom for the caseing. i placed these in a large terr with perlite i also invested in a couple cheap thermometer/hygrometers and tried to keep it around 94% humidity. i also got a u.s. humidifier wich im not using for the primary humidifier just as an occasional misting/co2 fluching of the terr. from what ive heard if you can see small droplets of condensation on the mycelium then its a tad bit too much humidity but ive had great success with the perlite/caseing setup
good luck
kindful serenity
ps out

and cased that with 50/50 mix vermiculite
and peat moss.My terraarium is a 42Qt.
coleman cooler with a plexi-glass top
and it seals VERY well. The humidity according
to my cheap gauge is @95% I simply can't
figure it out, this is my second attempt to
grow and so far no luck.I hope you can help,
this can be a time consuming and expensive
hobby with with no results.
