I believe that what you are saying might correspond to this statement? Well if you mean by "comming around" they have arleady known this for a while. Nhiels Bhor's coat of arms says opposites are complementary.

i think this is more directed at trying to discover what kind of space each person lives in so they can accurately assess accounts given by various people... every person lives in a world dominated by prejudices, things he will notice immediately, and things he will not notice at all... so each person will report a different version of any particular event...

for example...

imagine four people in an elevator, a caveman, a young female college student, and an elderly couple... now imagine the caveman grabs the college girl and rapes her...

when the four of them get off the elevator and are asked what just happened, the caveman might say he just took a ride in a crazy moving room... he will not mention the rape because that is something that is part of his natural world, and to him, not worth mentioning...

the girl would probably say she had just been raped by a caveman, with no mention of the features or actions of the elevator because this is a part of her natural world, and likewise not worth mentioning...

the old woman might say something like 'that girls skirt was an inch above her knee, the hussy was asking for it' if she had a religious prejudice and a conviction that our actions will result in misfortune if they are offensive to god...

the old man, being an alzheimer patient, might mention only that he likes grapes, being completely disconnected from what we percieve to be reality

what we have is four people in the same physical space experiencing four completely different realities...

Well, some physicists are already working on the idea that this notion of information could first be reconciled with Einstein's theory of general relativity which would open a golden door to the establishment of the theory of quantic gravity ("theory of everything") which is like the physicist's holy grail.

But what these new ideas really propose is a first glance at objective reality, by making the difference between what is only information, and the rest, which would be "pure reality".

How they're going to do this is by reinterpreting all the data they have on time, space, matter, laws, in term of information. In other words, they're going to try to break the code of this "matrix" we live in.

i wonder if processing needs to take place, a difference between dvd in storage or playing. a potential vs an actual existence.

it's an interesting concept nonetheless. it's like, your post implies that just by thinking about the possibility of a universe, that universe is real, and because your post impies this, it has made a real universe, that was born and died.

Religion has been talking about this idea for thousands of years. Funny how it's only when a group of physicists get together do we actually lend the notion any merit. What does that tell us about our culture and science?

The Dalai Lama released a book recently called "The Convergence of Science and Spirituality". The book centres on new advances in physics which point to an amaterialistic world, and how this view is exactly congruent with a twentyfive hundred year old Buddhist worldview called emptiness.
