Just to let anyone who looks at this know, by far the best aquarium heaters are Ebo-Jagger.. and they are barely more expensive (1-2$)

Good job of making your $160 HydroPod functional! Too bad you had to spend more money and time to do so. You would have thought for that price, it would have already had that included. After all, we will all experience heating problems in the next few months.
Looks like the HydroPod is about as versitile as a spitoon. That would need heating as well.
Excellent solution though MM. Maybe you should design your own device.

You know 200W heaters are not a lot more expensive. I've tried fish tank heaters for a number of heating tasks and I'd be surprised if 50 watts would raise the temperature of that thinly walled dome by more that couple of degrees.

Thanks for spelling my name right. Yes, I have gained much wisdom from the UBB but hardly any of it came from the poo-bah status. The number of posts means nothing about a persons maturity and intelligence. Moreover, age has nothing to do with it (I just wanted to state that as I am a rather young member). I do have quite a lot of time to waste, but, I dont choose to waste it fighting on the internet. Hell, I even keep it real in the real world. Pissing people off just isnt right. The sorry thing is that almost everybody that goes out and about their everyday business will piss off somebody, someway. It could be cutting somebody off in a car, have a hot girlfriend, having something that others dont, doing something that others cant. The important thing to remember is to be the bigger man. You dont need to sink down to other peopls levels. I admit, I once, too, did fight quite often as I thought I was right and the other person was wrong. The problem is -- neither side will give up and it will keep going on and on. Again, I'm glad to see you back and hope that you will consider staying, despite the ups and the downs.
You defiently have a large skill concerning the cultivation of fungi and I hope that we can all prosper from it.
