well since i ordered a few things from dimitri its always late or some problems, i always tought he was shady in some way, and you think he was 100% legit?

I'm out 60 bucks on this deal too. Has anybody tried using the complaint feature in PayPal for those that used PayPal? This way you have a chance of getting a refund through them, particularly if enough people complain about this.

Was wondering about this myself, I too have an order I have been waiting for since beginning of June ($78). I am as much concerned with the order as I am with how much info does a vender keep on current and past customers. Should we be concerned? Last I ever heard from the good Dr. is an email saying my stuff was being shipped. "Via Timbucktu????"

I really hate to sound paranoid but I am very new to this and it seems like a really fun hobby if I can ever get started.

I have filed a complaint with PayPal on my purchase stating that I never received my goods and never got a reply from the vendor and that the rumor is that he's in jail.

They say "give us 30 days, and we don't guarantee we can recover your funds"

So, we'll see... At least maybe they can find out the truth.

Trip, that was sort of stupid. Do you think paypal is going to help you get your money if they think you gave it to somebody who was involved with selling "gray area products" as they might assume because you indicated he was busted? Do you think screwing dimitri over with paypal is going to help him get his business back on it's feet and thusly be able to make good on past business transactions?

That was a foolish thing to do trip. I have a lot of expirence with paypal, and grey market items. If they even suspect that the item can be used for illegal things they will put a 180 day hold on the money. They will also hold bluethumbs account. If he was still trying to get back on his feet, you very well could have screwed him, and worse all of us. There are some of us that auctually have a lot of money tied up with him. Thanks man.

First of all, it wasn't stupid. PayPal doen't care about "gray area" marketing. All they care about is their integrity and the integrity of their associated vendors that they supply their shopping cart software to, as well as the satisfaction of buyers who pay the vendors through their service. They have an obligation to try to settle disputes between the vendors that use their service/software and the customers.

PayPal doesn't care `what` a vendor sells, just that he does so honestly and fairly without ripping people off through the use of their service!

It will be interesting to see what they find out about this whole situation.

If PayPal is uable to contact him and there's money in his account, I'll get a refund.
That's all I care. There are more complaints about Dimitri in this forum than any other vendor. If I had read them all before I placed my order, I never would've done so. Anyone else who paid him by credit card or through PayPal has the same chance for recourse as I do and should exercise their right to complain about such poor business practice in an attempt to get their money back.

Anyone who paid him with cash or money order is a fool anyway because of this very situation. There's no way to prove those transactions ever happened and no possible recourse.

I couldn't care less what happens to Dimitri or his lousy business. I just want my money back. I hope everyone gets what they ordered or gets a refund, but it's really no concern of mine.

Don't be pissed off at me because you got ripped off by Dimitri, so did everone else including me. I'm not chancing losing my opportunity for recourse just to be nice to Dimitri or anyone else.
