War of the Worlds Sucked

Has anyone else seen it yet? It was just a bunch of loud noises and special effects no plot and not even really much cool action scenes. What crap.

I seen it. I thought it was "good", but really not what I expected or what I really wanted. To me it was more of a robots versus humans movie not aliens. Oh well.

I wanted to see alot more of our/the worlds armies fighting back with nukes and shit. Half the movie was spent them hiding in basements and shit what kind of war is that? The end was just stupid aswell.

i liked it. The ending was short and it was all summed up fast tho.

I REALLY thought the acting was well done. I thought it was superb.

i thought spielburg's intention was to let the viewers imagination take over. sometimes its what you dont see but left with a what if for you to fill in the blanks.

I thought it was a great movie, but the last 30 minutes kind of sucked.

Funny, it seems like one of those movies that could've been a lot better.

Which is rather odd, seeing as how it's a Spielberg film. He is almost always top notch.

I enjoyed it. I say it was worth the $9 movie ticket.

But yeah the ending seemed to be like the film was saying "To make a long story short... da da da.. the end"

It was decent, but that's all.  The ending sucked balls and was so fucked up I wanted to slap the shit out of spielburg for it.

i thought the movie was good. its not what i expected but wasnt all that bad. the only thing i hated about it was the ending. the movie was going fine then all of a sudden *poof* they die. the end.

Well was it the same ending as in the book?
Maybe that's why it "sucked" so bad, cuz they had to follow the book. :shrug:
