some strange subaeruginosa * 1

found some weird subs on sunday.
these 2 caps were fused together, cant see so well in the pic.


single shroom with black cap, dried out dark brown.


been watching this patch for a while and they never seems to fully mature , caps dont open and veils stay attached,


a patch 3 metres from the ones above

Check out this albino fella - they can vary so much sometimes...


I went on a hunt today, and while manicuring through the pile, and looking at them all in a heap on my floor, I started to feel really guilty about taking them away from their home and felt this 'empathy' with all the little fellas.... all happy one minute with all the wonderful things happening in your little mushroom life,  then some ugly prick rips you out by the roots and sticks you in a plastic bag and in the boot of his car. Probably shouldnt eat em and then try to sort through them. :mushroom2:

Well since mushrooms are the fruits of the mycelium you shouldn't feel so guilty lol.  Only if you harmed the mycelium should you feel bad.  Would you feel the same guilt if you were to pick an apple from an apple tree?  :tongue2:
